  1. Been a pleasant change not getting blindsided by unwanted ads. Will have a look at Firefox on my mobile, I installed it other year but didn't like it much. Will try it again me thinks.

    Head injuries

Friends of mine have suffered split cheek until having some taken off the comb.
  3. I've been expecting this news for months, I've tried lots of times to find any updates on her health after pulling out if the vlm race last year at the last minute and saying she was going to fight it and come back. Been absolutely nothing about her until this sad news. Rip Sabine the ring Queen.
  4. Make some split cane rods, greenheart etc, sitting whipping them up will pass the time. Plenty of whittling to get them to shap too.

    Head injuries

Good point JDog, lots of us will have suffered headaches from firing heavy cartridges. It has to be affecting in some way. It's like getting repeatedly jabbed in the cheek and jaw with a uppercutting jab.
  6. Ideally it should out 60 % of the shot above the bead and 40 below. Try shooting it again and see if it's still hight then try the shims. A quick way to check is with bits of old bank card, slacken the stock and put a sliver in the gap at the top between the action and stock nip it back up and see where it patterns.
  7. I don't like the FX chrono as it's readings are to the nearest rounded three FPS. How can a inch or two make such a difference to how it reads. If that's the case they should state exactly how far from the muzzle it should be as they will be calibrated for a set distance. The only decent radar chrono is the lab radar. Only way you can get the FX to work close enough is to shoot over a known chrono at 1m from muzzle then adjust the position of the FX radar until it's the same readings take a measurement so you can repeat each time. Otherwise you might as well put your finger in the air and take a wild guess.

    council tax

Do they have more bins than you, use more street sweepers than you. The whole system is wrong. Why should a bigger property pay more, may only be one or two people living in it. Where as a small semi could have 8 living in it, yet pay much less. Do more police or fire engines turn up if a 999 call is made, no. So what are they paying for. It shouldn't ever be a wealth tax there are enough if them already.
  9. Why not just relax, take some deep breaths and let your mind wander, daydream. Start to learn something new, or something you and your son can do together. Build him something, don't know his age but if young, a plywood electric drive land rover. Lots of plans and designs online. If older buy him a old scrambler or trials bike and fix it up for him. If you are or interesting in fishing make your own lure rigs flies etc. There are lots of things you can do.

    Head injuries

The point is boxers know the damage that is done and accept the risks. The other sports head injury is now known about and been highlighted. Heading a football wouldn't have been a factor years ago. Knocks in rugby too were expo as part of playing, but as players get fitter more muscular and faster the injuries sustained are like car crash victims. Hence the head traumas are coming to light more.
  11. I use Google chrome via my android smart phone, tried other browsers and no different I have ad block on in Google chrome, still get the ads.
  12. Just came back on here, seen you qouted my reply. Clicked the prompt to view the thread, got another full page, as you say can't do anything until you delete it. Beyond a joke now, its spoiling a good forum
  13. I'm getting adverts covering the full page when I'm clicking to open a post. It's getting silly now and very annoying, to the point I now spend a lot less time on here.
  14. This year I will buy a few plants last year's seeds were a disaster. Lost most plants and the rest fruited late and never came ripe before frosts.
  15. The combinate type with the sylphos balls work well. I lived in a very high hard water area most of my life. These items were insisted upon for warranty to be valid. It's not a big job to cut the pipe and plumb one in.
  16. You'd be better off getting a JCB and driver for a few days to clean up with front bucket and backhoe. Then buy a tractor to suit everything else you need, tractor front buckets are known to be quite poor. Sorry for your loss and congratulations on becoming a farmer.
  17. Good little number for him, bit of pocket money and excersise.
  18. Best thing the palace can do is ignore them and any claims or allegations. Not worth even a comment, wonder when the press interview Harry's dad, he's been quiet a while. Good old major Hewitt 😜 Markle is brash and been shown over the years to be a awful person. Harry is looking more like his character in the series the Windsor's.
  19. As far as I'm concerned they chose their profession and all that goes with it. Whining moaning and going on about it. It's simples find another job. There lucky to be getting anything. Can you imagine a soldier moaning they're shooting at us, it's not on or a bouncer moaning about drunks getting rowdy. Can you tell I'm sick to the back teeth of hearing about the NHS. I'm not the oy one.
  20. Everedy has the red night light, I have a couple of them, dip beam and high beam. Takes a couple of batteries.
