    Maltesers add

I prefer the series of Cadburys flake adverts. Luscious lips. Plays with the emotions! Plenty to see on YouTube.
  2. For all his sins, and there were many of them, Cameron resigned after he lost the Brexit vote. Sturgeon lost the Independance vote but is still with us. Certain lack of integrity methinks.
  3. Not a gun but the family heirloom is a WW1 Officers sword. It belonged to my wife's grandfather. We also have his warrant. When our son went into the army we had the sword and scabbard refurbished by Wilkinsons. He proudly carried it into the army, doing a short term Commision (which he extended) as a Captain. We now have the sword and two framed warrants to hand down the family line.
  4. +1 very useful. Clips net to top of pole. Another further down the pole to stop the net flapping on windy days. Clip pieces of Ivy or light branches to poles to add to cammo etc
  5. As a retired BSAC diver / instructor of 20 yrs I am familiar with the requirement to leave your cylinder at the dive shop. It is time efficient to blow cylinders in batches between other jobs. As to the low pressure in the cylinder, regrettably this is does happen. It generally happens when the cylinder is filled a little too fast. The compressed air expands and the cylinder gets hot. When tested on the compressor contents gauge the hot cylinder will show 232 bar but when the air in the cylinder cools the compressed air contracts and the cylinder pressure drops back. To avoid receiving low pressure in future always smile and yask for a contents gauge check before accepting the cylinder and if it is below the required pressure ask the operator to top it off. If he whinges ask him would he refuse this service to a diver? The answer is No, he would not.

    Help

I always use my wife's hair drier when removing sticky tape and sticky labels off of things. It softens the glue. If you've glue left on the rifle try warming it with a hair drier and rubbing into blobs then pick off and try pure meths on a cloth at the same time. Slower process but avoids possible damage of more caustic solvents.
  7. There was a PW post recently drawing attention to the need for a "Compunders Licence" if you alter the character or flavour of a spirit with any substance other than water. Beware - the bogeymen beaurocrats are just around the corner. Enjoy. I like unlicensed cherry vodka!! Ho, Ho, Ho.
  8. went out last Friday to shoot over rape stubble. The field is about 250 yds wide and we'd built the hide behind nettles and under a small tree looking out across the field. We were well hidden. Instead of dropping in to the decoys or coming for a look see from a height which is what I'm more used to, the woodies sort of came over the hedge and immediately dropped to about 2-3 feet off of the ground and came skimming in at speed from about 100 yds out.It was very easy to lose sight of them against the stubble. We deliberately stopped shooting to see what they would do without being shot at. It would seem they wanted to use the tree as a sitting tree. When they came within about 25 ft of the decoys they would rise into the tree. We were so well hidden that at one stage we were looking at 6 pigeons sat over our head. I've never experienced low incoming skimmers at speed before. But we soon got our eye in and took 120 in 4 hours. out again tomorrow
  9. Anyone know of any game dealers in the Bristol area please? My search has proved fruitless. Spoke with St Catherines Game. He's stopped trading and said very few in our area and then couldn't think of any!! Thanks
  10. The man himself (Nigel) has earned his retirement and sold out but the company continues under the stewardship of Ivan with same quality work.
  11. Ideas please for keeping cats out of the garden - No, 28grm BB's is not the answer I'm looking for. Nice neighbour has bought cats for her kids and the cats have started to use our garden as a latrine. I can't stay on guard with a water pistol and the blue smelly stuff bought from the pet shop isn't doing the trick. I've seen adverts for sonic devices. Anyone used them successfully? Thanks
  12. Shootwarehouse uk have them in their rotary / flapper section. £4.50.
  13. Many thanks. I have a couple of Bisley torch / scope mounts so may try to locate camera only. I only use fibre so may have to buy a couple of boxes of plastic if it's a problem. Regards
  14. Coincidentally I started a similar curiosity post elsewhere on this forum as my performance has deteriorated and I was looking at how to identify what is going wrong. Very interested in the kit you identified. A quick Q before purchase. How do you view what has happened? Does it plug into a computer? Or, is there a card and do you need other bits like a card reader etc? Thanks.
  15. My pigeon shooting success rate (both woodies and clays) has deteriorated and I was toying with the idea of mounting a bullet cam with playback facility to see what is going wrong. Anyone used bullet cam or other camera to see where shot is going? If so then I would welcome advice / tips. Many thanks.
  16. In the first quote you quite clearly say "if there is a demand ... We will look at producing one". Future and speculative. In your second quote you say "we have plans to do a shell" not speculative but confirmatory. Glad to see you've changed your mind
  17. What an odd or even naive approach to marketing "If there is a demand for a shell decoy in the future"!!! A bit of market research by way of a chat with Shootwarehouse uk, A1 decoys and other major players will give you the sales percentage split between full body decoys and shell decoys. This will tell you that the demand for shell decoys exists already. Your "In the future" is now.
  18. Shooter68. Any response to the Shell decoy questions?
  19. My philosophy is based on wine. It you can't tell the difference between a £9.00 bottle of wine and a £19.00 bottle then why waste £10.00.
  20. True. But there are also many examples on Youtube of shooting foxes with shotguns where foxes are called in very close to the shooter.
  21. Any plans to produce enforcer shell decoys?
  22. Brother in law owned a garden machinery business. Based on his experience he recommends Mitox. I bought one. Great piece of kit.

    Mould advice ?

It is difficult to tell from the OP description whether it is mould due to a circulation / condensation issues or by the ingress of water by rising damp / rain penetration for example. The former can be managed in ways described above. The latter needs to address the source of the damp.
  24. Breaking local news is that in Hartcliffe, Bristol, a baby has been shot in the head twice with an air rifle and is in the Childrns hospital fighting for its life. Two people arrested . A 24 yr old man and 23 yr old woman. Allegedly not related to the baby? An act of sheer insanity.
