  1. That's really sad, not least because 66 is no age. RIP Andrew.
  2. We are just getting ready to buy my late father's house and my wallet is already aching.
  3. By that logic the US would be preparing to go to war when the NK ICBM reaches operating capability, which given that it has done lofted flight tests will happen before the SLBM. Land based missiles are much easier to develop and deploy in numbers, can carry more reentry vehicles and have much longer range than SLBM (where you need to develop the missile AND the boat to launch it from). If the US strategy for ICBMs is containment then it would make no sense for it to be different for SLBMs.

Dont worry, it's the announcement feature. It just doesn't get used very often
  5. It feels ridiculously gimmicky, but tech is going to get into everything eventually so aspects of the design will probably end up becoming mainstream in time.

  7. My dad changed his will last year through the COOP and it was around £200, although I think that was a discounted price.
  8. According to the admin control panel you had disabled your messenger. I've re enabled it for you.

    Easy Money.

My ex's daughter is one of the biggest UK YouTube/instagram "influencers" and she has made enough at 19 to have two houses paid off and before coronavirus lots of very expensive stuff, holidays etc. Fair play I think, I wish I'd had such an eye for an opportunity at her age.
  10. It's been a bit rough of late but plodding along. Hope you're well.
  11. Good to see you're still getting out
  12. This is what Wikipedia lists as its use in tv and films
  13. My dad decided to make some changes to his will last year and we used the coop. They were good and it was about £200.

Another vote for well seasoned oak if you can get it. I heated my home with wood for years using whatever was free and found only horse chestnut and elm to be fine as long as it is well seasoned and you have an enclosed stove. The last couple of years I did it I burnt almost exclusively crack willow and whilst it burnt fairly quickly it heated the house nicely. Funny smell though, once I've used it you can tell it instantly.
  15. We don't discuss member account status with anyone except the account holder I'm afraid. Jacko had already been brought back from a ban on a clearly stated last chance at the time and made aware that in light of this the decision was final.

    Rayburn advice

In the not too distant future I'm likely to be looking to move into my late father's house. One of the things which will need addressing before we do is the central heating which has all but stopped working. I'm contemplating replacing the existing boiler with a gas rayburn. I've found one locally which is more than adequate in terms of output and at a good price. My question is around whether such an appliance could be fitted by a boiler/gas engineer, or would I need a specialist Rayburn engineer? Many thanks!
  19. Yes I thought it struck the right tone aswell.
  20. A shame really, it's a stirring anthem and one of my favourites after "The State Anthem if the Russian Federation" and "La Marseilles".
  21. Sad to see "The Star Spangled Banner" has had its obligatory overcooking as usual.
