I have often thought if we did not buy all of this oil off mostly dodgy countries it would do a lot to stop all of these terrible wars as they would not have the money to buy the guns and ammunition. ( from us and other so called civilised countries ) Also if it was not for the greed of these people in charge of tin pot countries perhaps they would not have these wars in the first place and we would not see these terrible things daily on our tv sets. Bring on battery cars as fare as I am concerned it can only be a good thing as long as we do not end up buying more oil to make the electricity.

This hole thing makes me laugh how can a government that is only in power for 4 to 5 years say what will happen in 25 years time who knows we may all have hover cars by then or more lightly we will all end up on push bikes like we used to in the 50s and 60s

You should be careful saying things like that I think that you will find that it is against the rules to bid on your own item or get a proxy to do it for you or at least if you do its better not to tell everyone about it I may be wrong but I thought that I saw it somewhere in the ebay rules.

The problem is from what I have seen of it a lot of the subsidies go to the land owner not the person working the land may be wrong but that is the way that things have been explained on TV and radio.

I used to have this problem I used to take the cover off the outside junction box and spray in some WD40 better to use the proper electric stuff if you have any but the WD40 will work or it did in my box.

I tend to do this but do you actually get an extra month the fact is no as the month that you get is one of last years the car is in fact got two MOTs for one month if that makes any sense its all an illusion. :sad1:

The thing is I like to look at stuff on youtube and when I see something that I think people on here may find of interest I like to put a link so that you people can look at it. Having said that it does pee me off when I look and see that over 100 people have looked at it and not one of them has had the decency to just make a small comment to say that they ether liked it or not is that expecting to much I think not so I deleted it.

When I had my 2003 X-Trail I loved it but wanted to lift it a little 2" and put some skid plates on it the only place that I found that sells this stuff in in Australia but it would cost more to have it posted over here than the parts cost and they was not cheap I got so fed up with it I sold the car in the end good luck with it.

I am with them at the present time after complaining about the cost of my broudband going up I threatened to leave and they gave me a year free just have to pay the line rental £19 I think off hand. I have to laugh at there add they say if you have a problem you will always get to speak to person in Yourkshire but what they do not tell you is he or she may live in Yourkshire but they still come from pakistan. :whistling:

This is the way to go General Anesthetic every time when I was young I had ingrowing tow nails on both of my big tows the chap gave me some sort of local anesthetic but it hurt like hell when he inserted this cutting thing down the side of my nail to cut the pointed part off. Like you I was gripping the arms of the chair as hard as I could with sweat poring out of me while the guy was telling me not to be so silly it does not hurt that much but god it did some years later when I had to go into hospital for an opp on my leg. I got them to sort out my toes the solved the problem by cutting the overlapping skin off so that it never grew back problem solved for good may not look to good but who cares it does not hurt.

I am with you there as I see it is is not how often do you use it if you only use it once or twice a year to get you out of the mud it is worth having.

I do realise that it is not that simple as there are so many different types etc its just that these charities always seem to make it appear that it is us British that are doing all of the work to find a cure when the fact is people all over the world are doing it as well as us. As for the money going to the Grenfell survivors from what I have seen of it these people are not British people who have lived in this country for many years trying not to be racist about it most of them would seem to have not been in this country very long. add to that a lot of illegal immigrants being sub lit or just allowed to stay in peoples flats it is not going to be easy for the powers that be to prove just who should get the money and who is just trying it on I do not no who is rite or wrong but things are never as simple as people would have us believe.

When I sold my Jeep last year I put it on ebay and it did my head in I had loads of people asking questions I spent hours answering them the best I could but time when by and only one guy came to look at it he loved it but it had the engine light on nothing wrong with the truck just the lpg thing so he went saying that he would find out if it was a problem or not by contacting an lpg fitter but did not get back. Anyway after a week of answering all of these stupid questions and still no bids I had enough and decided to stop the auction I could not work out how to do that so put the starting price up to more than it was worth that did the trick no one bid on it funny thing was the guy who came and looked at it phoned me up and bought it for more than I expected I still miss that truck should not have sold it.

That is a good idea it worked for us when we was kids you should send it it you never no they may take you up on it and send you a cheque. :good:

One thing that I do not understand is we have UK Cancer research there must be Cancer research Charities all over the world so there must be huge amounts of money world wide going into research probably a lot of it duplicating the same work you would have thought that by now it would have been cured just a thought.

I had it on for a few mins but could not stand the sound of the cars to much like a dentist drill for my liking also it looked like they was racing in an industrial estate with big high walls not for me I am afraid but the kids may like it as it looked like it could have been on a computer game. Having said that the F1 engines are getting smaller and smaller and the electric ones bigger I think soon they will be having 50cc engines just for the noise and have the cars running on electrics.

I must say that I am shocked she is white that will never do should have been black or brown at least.

One thing that I found out several years ago as long as you do not call them out they keep the price cheap but call them out one or two times and the price goes through the roof I had a battery drain problem on one car never could get to the bottom of it. had to fit a battery kill switch to use if I was not going to be using it for a couple of days did the trick but the car computer did not like being shut down to often car/truck now sold.

I had a set of AT Grabbers put on my jeep when I got it last year it had Michalin road tyres on it when I got it good tyres for driving on the road but what is the point in having a 4x4 and putting road tyres on it. I have to admit that I have not been off road much since I got the grabbers but when I have gone off road they seem to be good in the mud on wet fields perhaps I should add with stupid 17" rims getting decent AT tyres was not simple what was up with the old 16" ones plenty of choice there.

The BFG ATs that I had on my old Jeep after about eight years the sides was covered with cracks as the rubber is so hard they are probably safe but I have to admit that it put me off them. This is only a problem if you do not do lots of miles each year.

Ah but at least they die happy :whistling:
