Very nice. That stone hide looks well built, did I spy a makeshift seat in there too?

Cheers Dave, I think I’ll get some cork wads ordered and try them as Figgy has pointed out that the felt can easily squash and change the column height. I’ll pick up some overshot cards while I’m on
-
You can add points on Google maps, this is what I do to mark hides etc up my way

Thanks lads, I’ll do a bit more fiddling tomorrow and see if I can get them looking better. yes new Remington cases, machine is a MEC Steelmaster

Decided to knock up my first couple of reloads, but the crimps just aren’t quite right - to me they look like the stack height is too low. The recipe calls for 1x 1/8” spacer under steel shot for BB and larger, and 1 under and one on top of the shot for B and smaller. The recipe is from the RSI book, and is #100 The first 2 cartridges (loaded with BB) are exactly as the recipes stipulates (1/8“ felt spacer under shot) The 3rd cartridge (loaded with BB) looks much better, it has an additional 1/8“ felt spacer on top of the shot The far right cartridge (loaded with #2) is exactly as the recipe states ( 1/8” felt spacer below shot + 1/8” felt spacer on top of shot) Any insights would be appreciated

Suppose it depends where you look? There’s been an Airwolf MVT listed on gunstar for months now

I love the first, there’s something special about getting back out for the first day of the season. Saw 2 other fowlers whilst I was out, but I never fired a shot, and I didnt hear them shooting either.

Haha, well i wouldnt want to take some and leave you short, but if you’re sure you can spare some that would be great 😂

As above, can’t find any for sale anywhere - 50 would do me

I’ll have a .705 here in about 3 weeks all being well! Orders are going through now, I think they’re looking to start sending them out in 2 weeks

Terror chokes available on the website at the minute - I ordered one last week

I had a Shotkam and sold it, as I didn’t think the footage was good enough for the money (content wise, not video quality). Build quality and customer service were excellent, but I agree with Motty regrading the content of the footage; unable to track shot birds on a pheasant shoot without swinging across other guns, I found it failed to record quite often, and although better on the most sensitive settings it still missed a few. Also depending on the presentation of the birds, when leading them and taking the shot you don’t even have the bird in the picture. It may be an excellent training tool for clays, but for game shooting and wildfowling it isn’t for me. I may look at an Aimcam in the future, but will try my GoPro first Edit: added link to some of my Shotkam footage

Strange, because that is exactly how the zero hours contract I was on worked. I always knew working hours (they never changed, 7:30 - 3:30). And the days I was required to work could change at the drop of a hat due to the nature of work

Should have stated I’m in the UK not NI

I’ve had magazines posted to me from dealers in the UK, and from the USA via Brownells with no issues

How much you looking to spend?

I have shot rabbits at 100yds with my Daystate (40ft/lbs) when the conditions are right. I never tried past that range - if I wanted to shoot further I would just use my Hmr, but I cant see why it wouldn’t do it after working out all the drops etc
-
Excellent condition, barely used. Probably collection only due to size. £100

Ive still got mine, but its fancy, and theres no dive bottle!

I love an all black tattoo, my right arm is mostly black save for a few bits I had left blank. Id love more tattoos, on my hands etc, but I am concerned about being able to get a new job etc so will probably stick to ones that can be covered if necessary
-
This will be my first season, so I’ll be out on the first although I’m expecting the binoculars to see more action than the shotgun
-
I’ve got a pair of light speed Zulu 3’s if you’re interested, worn for 2 lessons! Fantastically comfortable, think I paid around £900 for them

Mine has the lockable ammo compartment and a small shelf up top. Other than the lock issues I’m happy with the cabinet - it seems well enough made and it feels quality it terms of the bolt retraction and hinges etc.
