    Stud wall help

Simply way of doing it. Cut a strip of thin ply/ stuff cardboard etc just slightly shorter than the depth of the cavity. For the width of the strip measure the diagonal of the existing hole and cut board to suit. Now drill/make small hole in the centre of this piece of board and thread a bit of string in. Now the good bit place in the existing hole diagonally and manoeuvre it around inside the cavity - with s bit of plaster/filler on your finger dab it on the inside of the hole and now pull the bit of board into place to block the hole. Use a bit of tape on the string to keep it under tension. When dry you can build up with plaster/filler and then sand smooth----- simples and done many a time after sparks have had their way with drylining

    Streaming sites

Well, if we're talking the legalities of watching a 'Streaming site' then yes, it's blocked by UK providers. But a simple VPN use will unlock this to you. It's the same for many streaming sites that were subject to this ruling, like anything there is a simple workaround. Didn't realise there was this order in fact as use afdah whilst away at work, but as I wanted to continue watching a movie when I got home a solution was needed :-)
  5. F to F connector and some F connectors for each end of the already cut cable and jobs a good un. Available from most diy type stores, just make sure you get the correct F connectors depending on whether or not you have rg6/100 type coax or the much thinner 'shotgun' type cable.
  6. Check a few posts down to see another thread on this
  7. Haynes manual, steel rule straight edge ( to check warpage), socket set and gasket-- jobs a good un Does nobody like to tinker anymore
  8. "I will deal with it" When my wife tells me to change the little ones nappy and I reply with the above it means that I will do it-- effectively a promise to do so and I accept the repercussions if I don't. Seems Jeremy was happy to say the same knowing full well he would also be dealing with ****

    Tough mobile

I have two young 'product testers' at home, so far NOTHING has survived and that includes the likes of otterbox etc. The jcb tough phone types with plastic screens maybe better, but as an Apple household we will never find out.......
  16. Don't have to go as far as that. BP available on free sale to anyone of 18 in France They also have the large calibre air gums in .357 etc avail to purchased using your normal Licence.
  17. Now that looks like a dam good feast. Enjoy the afternoons antics :-)
  18. Don't forget the theory of mercury release from dental fillings. It's all conjecture and subject to so many variables that I don't think we will ever know for sure- but what I do wish for is greater advances in the treatment and dissolving of the type of plaque that is a factor

    BBC Pay

ND Spot on In all walks of life, people earn differing amounts- that's life. Whether or not you agree that someone should be paid more or less for any job has been the topic of conversation since the dawn of time.

    BBC Pay

Facts straight. It's not we 'The tax payer', it's we the 'TV Licence' payer But if you wish to bring the Government into in then be thankful that the fee is set by Parliament or the Beeb might just be upping it to pay for its 'Stars'

    Who!

When Capaldi entered into the role of the Dr was when for me, it went totally off the plot and direction that Dr Who was. It seemed that the production team and writers were trying to woe and American audience and this, plus Capaldi's interpretation of the Time Lord was a major turn off. Should it go to a 'lady' ? Hmmmmmm- I remain to be convinced ( my opinion is purely my own formed from many years spent hiding behind the sofa when the Daleks or Cyybermen were on)
  22. Seeker Thank you for the link. Unfortunately not, many of those pieces of software have not been updated in a good few years. Think I'm going to have to purchase a copy of QL or just keep paying for 145gr PPU ammunition which they sell at Bisley for this very reason/purpose.
  23. You honestly believe that come March 2019 or whenever things are finalised that we will repeal all current laws and adopt a specific set of UK ones? The timeframe for a start is too short, the disharmony between what we have and possibly desire is not great enough for major changes and of course the old adage will apply to many many of the thousands of laws and that is --- if it's not broke, don't try and fix it. Regarding shooting, you think the same magic wand that Jezzer promised me my Pink unicorn is going to be once again waved and hey presto, all current adaptations will cease- besides we are not aligned at all regarding the way we are licensed/restricted. Take some trips to the continent and check out what's possible then see if you think the EU has placed stringent restrictions on the UK hunting scene.... I was actually going to write a detailed piece on it- or should I say my son was as he is a third year law student and both understands and explains it better ( although you might have fallen asleep by the time he has finished going into detail)
  24. I can't see why they would repeal any current legislation, which would be seen as a retrograde step to current controls on deac's The rule change was for a reason- stop silly ******* being easily able to reverse the process.
