Was just waiting for that Lord George thought it but Darent post it
  2. Had 3 all still running simple British engineering.Nothing to dislike about them.
  3. Use mine every day.set off about 0600 roads nice n quiet lost nearly 3 stone as well gym work is free weights. Agree it's pretty good.
  4. Evenings around 5 ish for me 3 times a week although I do cycle to work and back every day 15 miles each day as well
  5. Depends on the engine.Usually oil change air filter wash out or if disposable new element.clean out float bowl on the carburettor and check idling and mixture settings.I think there will be guidance on you tube. General lube of cables and linkages. If it has points clean and regap.Add drop of oil to felt wick. but most are now electronic ignition. Pop a new spark plug in. Some will adjust tappets some won't. If it's a cylinder mower sharpening is done on a lathe with grindstones (correct way). If it's rotary a file will do as there is no need to have them razor sharp. A cylinder mower cuts against a bottom blade which needs fine adjustment if done properly. Finally check everything is tight and away you go. This is for a four stroke engine
  6. Should be fine it's the brush etc that is in contact with the bores.I use one for my sxs.410 and there fine. 12 bore set is wood but that's only because I have them.
  7. What a great write up.I agree with all you have shared with us.I have only ever been fowling once despite living on the coast. The marshes round here are club run and it's very difficult to get in.On my sole fowling trip I found it exhilarating but it was a long time ago. Thanks for the write up and if you get your book published I would buy a copy. Thanks again.
  8. Don't know anything about it unfortunately other than its very nice I like it.
  9. Switch if the cover is the same or better. Some don't cover off road so best to check
  10. Large numbers here on the fylde coast, Lots carrying twigs and building nests.
  11. Head gasket swap is fairly straightforeward. If the engine overheated for a while it could have warped the head in which case there is a good bit more work involved including a head skim. The price will go up considerably
  12. I'm a bit old school and would braze it.
  13. Personally I would use only oil and sparingly too.I do pivot points directly applied, and the rest of the internals wiped over with an oily cloth (enough to leave a thin protective film).
  14. It's a poor do when we have to eradicate something we love to see on our hard earned permissions to keep someone without permission out.Dont know what the answer is really.A good network of Intel and good policing should really work but often doesn't.
  15. When you push the ejector are there similar pressures from the springs
  16. Toying with making my own case for my over and under.has anyone made one and do you have any tips or pictures. Was thinking of ply front and back softwood sides all stained and varnished.maybe cut out foam insides.
  17. Not seen them for a while.Used to shoot them all the time. Are Winchester AA trap 100s and ranger cartridges still available?
  18. Looks great go on what did you use on the woodwork.I have a webley and scott hammer single barrel and wouldn't mind having a go on the stock.Action and barrel is perfect.Stock is a light beeches colour that doesn't look too good.
  19. Fantastic video.really enjoyed it.Could you do one showing best way to joint the rabbit.
