  1. Would anyone happen to have a lyman electric lead melting pot in a dusty alcove that their not using? Just started using a BP rifle and fancy casting my own minies. Thanks
  2. I believe he is still under investigation so I doubt they'd risk it.
  3. They were on honeysuckle, lavender, buddleia and verbena.
  4. We had them in the garden again this year and her indoors bought plants to encourage them in as we liked them so much. At one time we were getting up to 4 at once.
  5. I'd stick a wanted post in as many forums as you can. People often fit them into aftermarket stocks so should have the original kicking about. Failing that a nice laminated GRS stock looks very nice.
  6. What a billy bargain! I hope it gets snapped up soon.
  7. Agreed, however on a string to determine sweet spot/aim points on a non regulated rifle for HFT comps,a few deformed pellets can make a difference. Or ****** up your results or screw with your head.
  8. 😂 I'm £19.99 a tin for Falcons or RS's. Surely deformed pellets give you a skewed chrono reading.
  9. I use the plunger part of my pellet sizer if I need to but since using Falcon pellets I don't. (Google pellet sizer and you find a picture of both parts) Failing that I'm pretty sure a biro top would do.
  10. @Mice! beat me to it. I've had them like that through the post and reformed the skirts with a pellet sizer. That does look like a dropped tin/package I now buy my pellets from an AA dealer 2 mins from the factory that cuts out the postman.
  11. Try them against perfect pellets for yourself @ 30yds and see how they group. 2x crosses on an A4 sheet is all you need If you want you can then weigh them and sort into batches, after you've washed them of course.
  12. Maybe it's fit or balance that isn't right for him. My clay gun weighs 8 1/2 lbs and is so nicely balanced for me that the weight is not something I ever notice.
  13. Unexpectedly emotional when I heard the news even though it was expected.
  14. I'd say that was a bargain and if I didn't have an ancient old Greenkat I'd snap it up. Case as well? I hope someone has it soon.
  15. Will be at the Weston Park Country Fair for the weekend next month. We'll see what that has to offer. Oh and beer/lager is about £8 a pint in Londons glittering West end.
  16. Sounds more like village country fairs of old. All you missed was the smell of trampled grass.
  17. A fun way to raise money, I hope it's a great success.

T3X 20" barrel 1:8 twist. So accurate it's like cheating.
  19. I use trains every day from South Coast to London for work. If there's one thing that'll cause me to jack it in it'll be be the travel. At well over 5k a year it sometimes makes little or no sense.
  20. You don't say which caliber or what you'll be shooting at what kind of range.
  21. Goodness me that's absolutely gorgeous. Good luck with the sale.
  22. They can cut the membership vote by getting to the last 2 then one candidate is persuaded to drop out. This was hinted at by Boris at pmq's.
  23. Didn't know that, thanks. Just starting to load 303.
