mickmep
where's the option for a pump ? my favourite for a bit of rough shootin'
henry d
OU - as it is lighter to carry than a semi
al4x
depends entirely what I'm shooting, if rough walked up it'll be the O/U but if vermin usually the semi auto.

miroku4399
normally for rough shooting i will use my benelli 3 shot semi auto in the spring and summer months i will carry my 17 hmr also for rabbits yet to find a 12 bore that will kill them at 100 yds Cheers Shane
flytie
I only have the one shotgun (.410 on the way) and I use it for everything, it's a 687 SP III, 28" barrels with multichokes. And very nice wood!! One of these days I will buy a 20 bore again. ft
chezza1986
I use a semi most of the time but want to get good with a side by side as looks classic when out on a proper shoot.
al4x
looks classic till you can't hit a barn door with it

Blackpowder
S x S cos its all I own in the way of shotguns, lighter than the equivilant gauge in OU when walking is involved. Blackpowder
Arminfarmin
Another vote for SxS, just about right weight wise, so not an arm killer on long walks. Only downside due to it's age is it can only take up to 32g cartridges, although I wouldnt want to have anything more, oh and nothing 70mm. magman
Cannot vote as i use a o/u in the winter months and a 410 pump in the summer months on a walk around

berettaman
My sxs hammer shoots where i point so that gets my vote for walked up/rough,but i like the semis for crows cos where i go they come over in great numbers so the extra cart is another dead crow
libs
Moderated single .410 usually, a lot of the fields I shoot have stock in them
