No , do i believe it happend ? Yes 100% I always thought ide be ok with something like this but i found myself questioning what happened , and not telling anyone , simply because of the mickey takes .

There are more things to heaven and earth than meet the eye!

If you have lived in Lancashire for a few years you might well have heard of "The Paranormal Activity Research Team Of Lancashire". They were recognised as one of the most experienced teams in the area and featured many times in most of the local papers, several of the Spiritual and Paranormal Magazines (Including having a centre page full feature in "Paranormal Magazine", they did several interviews on BBC Radio Lancashire including a "Live link up from a paranormal investigation, and even had an article and photo published in The Sun! On top of that they helped to raise several thousand pounds for charity through their Paranormal Investigations but met all of their running costs out of their own pockets.

They team is disbanded now and they have let their web site go down but they are still in a position where they are constantly being asked for advice and help from members of the public.

If you ever saw and read any of the articles about them or remember their web site you might have seen a "farmiliar face" off this forum!

p.s. Buster 321c we are not all "mickey takers". You can PM me if you wish!

Do tell, I have things happen to me all the time, my mother and sister are spiritualist mediums and I pick up on loads and loads of stuff and have even surprised quite a few customers with stuff I have seen or felt when I have been in their homes.

I've never experienced anything myself. Have heard a few stories though that make me think that it's real?

Perhaps some people need to be a little more open minded? Just think of all the jokes that were once made about man being able to fly then later on a man on the moon etc. It was all a big joke to people at one time or another. We don't know everything yet and I doubt we ever will so don't count it out.

I allways thought that the whole spirit thing was a load of old dung until-7-8 years ago whilst off work and looking for RAF graves at our local graveyard i came accross a grave of a little girl who had died aged 11 in 1820.It made me sad at the time and i recall wondering if she would have died in modern times e.t.c. and eventually i wrote a poem for her.Two years later we began to realise that odd things were occuring around the house and one morning the mrs joked that we had a ghost.Things got steadily worse (my son running downstairs asking us to get the girl off his bed because she had woken him up-books flying accross the room in front of guests as well as us-footsteps at night e.t.c.) Eventually i rather sheepishly made an appointment to see the local vicar and in time met him and explained our prediciment. To my suprise he was not at all shocked and even explained that it was quite common in our village.A few days later he visited our house and after a while he told us that he thought that the spirit of a young girl was in the house (it was,nt until then that i made the connection with the grave) and with my wife and myself he blessed each room in the house and asked the spirit to leave. We have had nothing strange occur since-if we did, he informed us, we could contact the Oxford diocese who had men more qualified in these matters. For all those doubters out there i swear that this is all exactly what happened.

If they had their research printed in The Sun or Paranormal Magazine then it must be true - they wouldn't print BS...would they?

That really is both incredible and bizarre....

...you found a grave of a child who died 200 years ago (in a time when millions were routinely dying young) and decided to write a poem about it all :good: That is most definitely para normal activity

I have experienced some strange things that I cant explain and I have seen what I thought was a ghost on more than one occasion.

For the people who will think Im a nutter, I consider myself to be quite normal and I am not religious in the slightest.

I am a medical professional, I am a scientific, thinking type and like to explain things away in terms that dont include the words paranormal or spirituality.

It has recently become an issue as it appears that I may have brought the 'ghost' of someone I attended at work home with me.! (long story)

This isnt the first time that our house has had strange goings on. when we first moved in and the rewire was being done, we had a spook scaring the **** out of us. (particularly when it decided to put hand prints in the fresh paint in the living room!)

I never used to believe in any of this and thought it was a load of old carp. I didnt believe german girls didnt shave their pits till I saw it with my own eyes though!
