Shropshire_Lad
I'm quite liking this one; http://www.gueriniusa.com/gun_models/ellipse_evo/Ellipse.shtml There is just a spare 3.5k thats getting in the way of me having one though.I regret selling my lefty Titan mco20, it was a looker and could shoot too. atvb Paul. sitsinhedges
I still like the idea of a nice 20g O/U, but after not really getting on with the 20g Silver Pigeon, fit I suppose, I'm not really sure where to go with that one
miroku_fan
If the Beretta 20 gauge did not suit you then try a Miroku MK60 or MK70 preferably with 30" barrels. In order to get used to the handling qualities of the 20 gauge you must leave your 12 gauge shotguns in the cabinet for a lengthy period of time. You will not regret this. The 20 gauge is my favourite guage because the guns look so elegant and they are every bit as effective on game and clays as their big brothers. Paddy Galore!
i'd like a sako TRG in 308 if anyone is feeling generous? wish i'd kept my brownone 325 12g, lovely gun and nicely fitted. boo hoo!!!
njc110381
I wish I had the money to buy a nice drilling. Something custom made would be perfect but the likes of Kreighoff make some lovely factory examples. A side by side 12g multichoke with a 7x57 or 7x64 barrel underneath would be a dream come true. As for wish I'd never sold, well I don't know as I've ever sold anything and really regretted it? I miss my .375H&H but for the use it was egtting selling it wasn't a bad move. It was a lovely gun though.
Redgum
I was given a browning 12gauge auto when my father gave up all his guns,it was his least favourite and the advice was it was best ta probably scrap it. I think it was either a twelvette or 20/20,it came with an open barrel and a 3/4 choke barrel. As with many early autos it had quite a stange sort of double shuffle recoil. With the 3/4 choke barrel and its light weight it was a demond pigeon gun,it fitted like a glove and killed lots of pigeons. A brilliant hide gun as long as the decoys were not place to close in. It was sold to finance a rifle and out of my three shotguns at the time it seemed like the best idea. Hope the new owner ( some mad northern who drove 3 hours to get it) gets half of the enjoyment I had out of it. ...... and as for the gun I would like to own, a modest request, Sako finfire in 308 has always been a fancy. njc110381
Love a side by side English big game rifle - just i don't have much call for one Guns i regretted selling? lots but it was always the best move at the time, needs change with time its just sometimes they come full circle Funny you say that. I sold my .22 Hornet to Andythechicken on here because I fancied a change. Got a really smart PRS custom .17 Hornet to replace it but always missed the .22. Luckily a while back Andy was moving on to bigger and better things so I bought it back again. I don't think I'll let it go this time! MartB
Wish I hadn't sold my old Martini Metford all those years ago. Finally found a mint Greener GP (Martini action). Built like the proverbial and almost looks like the old gun. Also, so tightly choked it shoots like a rifle... to 20 odd yards. Would love to find a spare barrel for the greener GP so I can open it up for clays. Have a great New Year everyone. I'm sure I left a bottle of fizz around here someplace...................
