Gordon R
E-mail has been accepted in Greater Manchester for a couple of years. I rang up to check whether a recorded delivery had reached them - Royal Mail couldn't say - they told me to e-mail. I have been doing just that since. semiautolee
E-mail has been accepted in Greater Manchester for a couple of years. I rang up to check whether a recorded delivery had reached them - Royal Mail couldn't say - they told me to e-mail. I have been doing just that since. i usually email them to make sure my letter has been recieved and details amended on the system..... and dont have any problems at all doing it this way.......and then i asked if i could just send them a email next time instead of writing a letter etc etc and was told NO! and now this system is coming out............ activeviii
gloucestershire is the same, i just scan the paperwork and email it over to them. they lost two letters in the past and as there was no conformation that their department had received the letter i didnt know until i changed my cabinet and they came out to check it. lucky i had the proof of posting and a copy of transfer letter. Zapp
Northants have had an online notification system (which sends you a receipt confirmation email) for a couple of years, and very good it is too
al4x
same here with Herts been doing it like this since about 2006, a great way of doing things less paperwork to go missing on their side
Billy.
Another one for Herts. You might not get a reply every time, but it's still an electronic record.
