1/2 hour for the stairs on your arms whats wrong with your other leg ? I have no legs and stairs dont bother me unless its the church spire, whats up with your back side and hands 16 steps should take about 45 seconds

thank you for your sympathy, what a well constructed and helpful reply, as you have no idea of my situation you may want to rethink your answer, I also assume you have no pain if you can scoot up and down the stairs, but hey there is always one smart assss

all the best doc

Its not a matter of being a smart *** its a matter of over coming your disabilities and yes I am in constant pain I have spent 7 months out of the last three years in hospital. Lost one leg in 2008 the other in July last year returned to work on a disability buggy in September sat in the workshop with a laptop on the handlebars couldn't get to the toilet had to pee in a bucket and go to the local supermarket for a ****.I was wearing a walking boot or a plaster cast for 18 months.

This didn't stop me shooting my mates fetched me to the clay club in a wheel chair to shoot .I even managed to shoot 5 deer from a electric buggy with a cammo net wrapped around me, and regarding pain yes it was there all the time and still is.

Take a look at this and tell me it didn't hurt its not about pain its all about a positive attitude to getting better and overcoming different ways to do things to make life easer while still in pain, but to carry on as much as possible with the thing we enjoy If it was not for the family and shooting friends I would not of come through this the way I did I have never suffered any depression or any thing like that due to a good circle of friends

Yes I do feel for you and wish you a speedy recovery but please have a positive attitude that things do not have to stop just because we have an injury get a wheelchair from the local red cross get your mates to take you out shooting try and team up with some one to go lamping with from a vehicle it will make you feel much better I was even better just mixing with shooting friends ,if you just sit moping around the house you will feel terrible and the pain will be worse

Happy shooting and I hope all goes well
