Pheasant Feeder
Which is your favourite sausage and is there any varieties not already mentioned that you prefer. How do you eat yours, in a casserole, as part of a breakfast, with mash?
Beretta28g
A beef sausage is just wrong, venison is good though.
alexf
A beef sausage is just wrong, venison is good though. Definitely not a fan of them taste odd even. Good ol'pork and apple cant beat them

Penfolio
I really do like a good cumberland but, a lincs would also go very well indeed. Pork n chilli, mmmm. Pork n caramelised red onion, went down very well too. Where would I be without some chorizo though? Sausages, let's be honest, they're just an all-round good idea. BIG 5
Try COOP Linconshire sausages, they are the best I know at the moment. Oven cook 30 mins served with baked potato and tinned plumb tomatoes. YUMMY.

Thunderbird
Glos Old Spot is good. Hard to beat a decent spanish sausage too if you're ever over that way.
JR1960
Tried dozens over the years but still don't think you can beat a nice traditional pork sausage. Only ever buy from our local butcher. Although Pickerings in Costessey have had some trade off me on occasion Our old butcher in felthorpe used to have photos of the pig the meat came from over the top of the trays of sausages. That's what you call traceable! Edited March 14, 2012 by JR1960

Fatcatsplat
There always seems to be a sausage stall at Country Fairs flogging various ridiculous flavours, some of which just ain't right, but there are some really good combos out there - I love the Jerk pork - Bit of Caribbean love and the Thai sausage - Chilli, lime and lemongrass. Colin - As a suggestion, the original vindaloo was made with pork and is kinda based on a jazzed up peri peri type sauce - That could be a good one to try. shaun4860
My butcher makes his own, from basic pork/beef to pork and chocolate (not tried because it sounds wrong) He does a very good pork and black pudding ( which if you take the skins off makes an excellent scotch egg covering) and a pork and chillie. Not struck on his lamb and mint Costco do a nice pork and caramelised red onion one And i like a nice venison one as well....
