Thunderbird
I have a couple of options I guess. A 30-year-old Remington 1100 which is choked to about a 1/4 which will take normal steel loads to about 32gm no worries. In fact I'd be interested in anyone experiences of loads in a vintage Remmy for wildfowling??? I've also got an AYA No.3 Magnum which again is choked at about CYL/1/4. I'm going to piddle about with them next season as most of my shooting will be mentored and anyway I've heard there is a nice easy marsh by the car park so I'll also take a picnic chair and trestle table. mudpatten
I can try for some pics but I don`t know what I`m doing with computers. No, the indoor gun was sold but this is the big M/L gun I replaced it with. Chrispti, this was the gun that lived in the shed at the Jubillee Rd address. You helped me paint it once when you were about six. In actual fact the gun no longer belongs to me but I do have the loan of any one of thirteen punt guns which belong to a couple of mates. Anth6568
Just bought a 10 bore Lincoln o/u This will now be my dedicated gun Before that I used a 3 inch 12 bore Browning Phoenix. Regards
motty
My wildfowling gun for the last few seasons has also been my main pigeon gun - my xtrema. It has accounted for many ducks and geese, but obviously hasn't been solely for the shore. I have recently purchased a Browning Gold 10g to kill the geese with, which i won't be using for pigeons. wildfowler.250
Decided to get a 10g Lincoln but finding one at the right price is tricky. The last one I looked at was cheap enough but had no blueing whatsoever Just use the 3 1/2" 12 at the moment. But that's for any type of shooting. Guessing it's just me that thinks that listing the make of gun you own is a security risk then? Not long now, 36 days I think!
