The Essex Hunter
I always enjoy this tournament and hope the “swing low sweet chariot” lads come through as winners; however I am sure it will be a close run contest…… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5B-bxIpMwY TEH
guest1957
Can't wait for the Calcutta Cup match tomorrow. Hopefully England will put a decent score on Scotland for once! I will be interested to see if Scotland can come up with a try.
Boromir
Scotland will put a good first half performance in but they seem not to last the full 80 minutes.

-Mongrel-
On the sodden fields of Flodden, was the tartan army found. Then the Scottish pack were trodden into solid English ground. Flodden then - now Twickenham! Yeoman hearts will never fail, and England - O my England, once again we shall prevail. As we fall upon the ancient foe, 'til strength and life departs. Crying "On, England, on to glory!", and break their Scottish hearts!" Then our triumphant victory hour will proclaim what every Scotsman knows. Which is the Union's fairest flower? Not the Thistle, but the Rose!

rimfire4969
With England's last performance I would expect and hope England to beat the sweaty socks by st least 20 points. I'll really miss shouting abuse at the tv .We don't get the games here It's on bbc 1 so you might get it on the net or a sports bar. henry d
Twelvetrees, Marler and Launchbury with Strettle, Flood and Vunipola on the bench...game on! ...And you, good yeomen, Whose limbs were made in England, show us here The mettle of your pasture; let us swear That you are worth your breeding- which I doubt not; For there is none of you so mean and base That hath not noble lustre in your eyes. I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips, Straining upon the start. The game's afoot: Follow your spirit; and upon this charge Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George! rimfire4969
Good play by Scotland and England. Glad to see that England came out on top, well deserved victory. That Farrell has started to show more awareness and show he is more than just a kicker, but a great kicker at that.
NickS
Good day out at Twickenham yesterday but the boys are going to have to up their game before they meet the French and Irish. Wales can throw up some surprises (good or bad) and England is the only 6 Nations scalp that Italy has not taken - cant see it happening on March 10th with England at home. I am taking a group of Italian students that we have studying at my school. The group I took 2 years ago enjoyed the experience if not the result! A good start to a potentially interesting tournament. Nick

Nial
> Well done Italy! Very few things more pleasing than an upset Frenchman lol! Maybe a crying argentinian... A gurning Englishman! Next week will be interesting, Ireland played well in the first half and defended well in the second but they'll have to do both at the same time to beat England. guest1957
Another exciting weekend ahead. What are everyone's predictions? I'm going with: France by 12 Italy by 5 England by
Highlandladdie
Ooooo well Wales to rebound and squeak it by a score. Just cant see France controlling this game after last weeks display. Italy to win. Not sure on score, could be by a few. The monkey is off of their backs with a win already. They were fantastic for spells against France. Scotland will be worried, the graveyard works both ways. Sundays match is too close to call. I'll stick my neck out and go for.........there only being 3 points in it whoever wins!
