photon
Just a small amount of rust to clean off a Remington 870. camera work needs some work but you get his point
BlackBoar
Want to get a Super Nova but stuck on barrel length 26" or 28" Does it make actually make any difference performance wise.? For wildfowling and general pumpbaggery. own a 28" Maxus which feels unnecessarily long.
thepasty
wouldnt have thought it would make any difference, I always go for 26, I like it short for a general purpose gun.

throdgrain
I had a 24" on my SuperNova, it made it roughly the same length overall as my 870 Wingmaster with a 26" barrel.
GazzerG
New addition to the pump club ... Got myself a Hatsan Escort Field Pump..... Quite impressed with the build. 5 chokes, shims and 3 butt pad spacers. I was going for the Winchester SXP, but after reading through several pages on here about the LOP issues and needing 14 3/4" for a fit, I decided against it..... roll on the weekend
Davegc
Would like to submit an application to join as I picked up a Winchester SXP, at the weekend. Dave Edited December 8, 2014 by Davegc

Davegc
How does the Winchester SXP shoot, Dave? I like it, put a few rounds through it yesterday and so far can't complain. Not too dear as a first gun, over time I migh, might not upgrade. Dave
theshootist
Just had another look on the Holts auction that's on tomorrow. There is a winchester model 1912 in 20 bore, dated 1913. Its got a highly figured stock and is also a take down. £3-500 (plus 30%)... must resist!
theshootist
Well the wincester 1912 went for £550, which with fees and VAT comes out at £715 which was too much for me but still a lovely little 100 year old take down 20b pump! brett1985
took the sxp out yesterday as the 1301 is back at GMK again...... got a lot of ribbing from the guys at the local 50 bird sporting, no one has ever used a pump up there apparently. it was a particulary hard day to be honest, with even some of the a class shooters getting unusually low scores. i came out 4th on a card of 10 people with a score of 18. beating guys using 'proper' sporting guns (DT10, silver pigeons, browning 725 etc) apart from the fact that it took a bit of getting used to as i'd not used a pump before, it is actually a bloody good gun! so, its been retracted from sale for the forseeable future. corkycorksta
no need for the embarrassed faces, theres no brand snobbery in Pump Club, all are equally welcome! I think you're the first Revo member so keep us informed on how you get on with it and how it holds up. I bought a Revo pump and could shoot quite well with it - but after 300 carts the plastic trigger unit shattered. Took it back to southern counties who gave me a credit note that I used to buy an SXP - very happy with the winchester but I need to increase the lop a little. Any ideas where I can buy a spacer ?
