Do you love your job?

I like mine, come in between 8 and 9, whenever I feel like, set fire to some material, work in a lab on my own so no office politics, dinner time I can take 30 minutes, or 2 hours off. Set fire to more things in the afternoon, go home at 4:30, or 5, or whenever I feel like, they don't care if you're late, as long as you do your 39 hours.

Considering alot of jobs just involves sitting in an office all day infront of a computer with the boss looking over your shoulder all the time, and being disiplined for being 5 minutes late, I consider myself quite lucky. B)

Yep, love mine in general. Plenty of times where I wish I were doing something else, but the positives far outweigh any negatives! Sheep farming on the our own land. So plenty of grafting, yet plenty of time to do other things too!

I used to love my job or be very proud of it at least but in the last few years the rates have dropped dramatically and it's also taking its toll on me physically. Don't know how I'm supposed to manage another 20years as a carpenter when everything hurts.

in the same boat as you mate.only 10 years to go tho :yahoo:

I am a teacher and I do love the important bits of my job (the teaching and supporting the kids). I hated being a head of department so ditched that to return to what I enjoy. Something I do notice is how much more exhausted I get as I get older and how ready I am for the holidays when they arrive.

It bugs me though when I see so many teachers giving so much yet being the constant target for government and Daily Mail whining and moaning.

I work for Nissan and its the worst job I've had. Been there 6yrs and its to the point it's soul crushing, also took a hell of a toll on my back (one operation and still isn't right) also don't like factory work so that's the kicker. Would love to be "that" person who likes there job and does not mind heading off to work.
