We have 3-4 inches and its blowing a blizzard horizontally across from the east - could have up to eight inches apparently with snow possible from now to Sunday morning.

Guess when I'm going for a walk and a bit of roost shooting !!

The dog didnt like it this morning - closest thing I've seen for a while to a whiteout.

Looks like I'm staying in !!

About 2 inches here at just gone 9:00 on Firday morning. It's still snowing, only light flakes but they are falling constantly with a fairly strong wind backing it up.

This could mean fun for me as I am surposed to be going up to the poultry farm to collect eggs this morning for our residents, and with my little Renault Clio I somehow dont think I will make it. I'm also meant to be going out onto much higher ground later this morning - That could well be put on the back burner as well!

The forecast is for more snow through today and tomorrow which isn't going to help the fact that we have our first club clay shoot of the season on Sunday.

I wish I had never sold the 4X4! Curse this weather!!!

Edit: There is one consolation - If we have snow settled on the fields for 3 or 4 days or more foloowed by a day of sunshine the foxes will be out hunting in ernest throughout the daytime which makes shooting and tracking them a little easier - I'm getting too old for these long, cold, wet and frozen nights out lamping!
