secretagentmole
Send me one to Bahrain, I miss a decent pint of...Speckled Hen :good: You won't get a decent pint of that anymore, Greene King have gone all Watney Manns (the fore runner to Grand Met), buying all the breweries, closing them down and brewing a pale imitation of what they had been in Bury St Edmunds. Sad to think that Greene King have turned into what the despised in the Eighties.....

ayano3
I like my local brew on Bateman's xxx. I think every Bateman's pub was once by a river...but its good stuff now.
NickS
Sam Adams is one of my favourite breweries, along with Yeungling (not seen that here but maybe available from specialist outlets). Both are proof that not all American beer is like making love on a beach.
ack-ack
I was a Fursty Ferret fan till i visited the Brewery-theres no tradition or pride in any Badger Ales-its a commercial chemical plant.Hobgoblin is the king. I had actually wondered how they managed to achieve such intense fruity and floral flavours in some their brews. It can only be through flavouring a brew rather than brewing a flavour. Shame as some of them are chuffing lush!

Vince Green
Green King is £2.69 a pint in the pub at the end of my road. Not bad for London.
