hello chaps just got back from holiday yesterday. to my dad telling me the pigeons are hitting one of our permisions a nice big barley field just going yellow with quite a few big flat spots and the pigeons were hammering it. so got mi batterys charged and set off this morning called at gun shop to collect some carts. go to the field about 11.30 to see they were feeding heiverly in the middle so had a watch for a few flight lines couldnt really get dirrectly unerneath one so positioned my self with back to motorway and a good flatspot out in front and a flight line to left and right got setup for 12 and the birds started to come quite a few flocked birds still but a lot of 1s n 2s . my dog is still quite young and the standing barley made it quite hard for him but he did pretty good. well after a hectic six hours i looked at my clicker and id shot 214 my best day yet and the birds were still coming in but enough was enough and my dog was finished poor lad quite a few birds not in picture but gunna head out in morn when hes fresh have a hunt for some more. post-59822-0-32067500-1374620674_thumb.jpg
