955i
I have a Nikko Gamemaster and it has always been fine for me. Not the best optics, but fine for my needs and only around the £70-80 mark
la bala
,plenty of budget scopes out there will do you for that range, i have a hawke on mine.
fortune
It doesn't matter what the make is. it's all about vision clarity and holding zero. if you can see the target and the scope holds it's zero then bullet should hit target. generally I use stuff like zeiss and Habict with a fixed 6x42 but as long as you can see the target and your confident in the shot then anything will do the job. Some people shoot very well with iron sights.

babs2020
thanks guys i have a few scopes so may try one of them it as simmons whitetail classic on it but not sure how old it is as only been out twice with it not holding zero
Paddy Galore!
i started out with a 3-9x50 hawke, now got a leupold and it doesn't make me shoot any better. my advice would be to keep it simple, don't bother with illuminated reticules or adjustable parallax, at those ranges you just won't need it. Dekers
hi guys what s the best scope for rabbits about 50 to 60 yards for a 22 rimfire As #4 It's a .22lr, they don't get a lot more gentle and you are not shooting rounds into the next county! So long as you can see your target and it holds zero then jobs a goddun. Any talk of a few minutes extra day/dusk light is hardly a life changer, just strap the lamp on a few minutes earlier! Spend what you like, but personally I have no reason to get excited over rimfires scopes, £100 should do the job easy, and very possibly less! bullet boy
Bushnell Trophy scopes are also lovely glass.
kent
Best I have used for the purpose is the 6x42 S+Bender its worn for the last 2- 3yrs or so. A Meopta especially second hand in the same size might be a great buy the glass comes out of the same factory as S+Bender use, though in fairness anything rugged without to high a magnification level is good 3-9 x 40 or similar is very popular. You don't have to spend a fortune though, I bet my gun has had at least eight scopes on it while its been in my ownership but the S+Bender just became spare when I sold its ride
Whitebridges
If you use your .22 a lot why not put some nicer glass on it? It can make shooting it a bit more pleasurable. You don't have to go to mad, i've got a Meopta Meopro 4-12 x 50 on mine which works great. Edited November 19, 2013 by Whitebridges
saddler
I was told years back when I first started in rimfire shooting to put the best scope you have on the rifle you use the most My .22 has a S&B 6x42 on it
Katash
I have an MTC Taipan 6-24 x 56 on mine .... definatly overkill but looks great both through the scope and on the rifle. will probably move it to a centerfire when I get one and replace it with something less powerful. welshwarrior
6x42 S&B on my
Rimfireboy
Neither of my wtc's have lost zero, that's what I like about them. They can get knocked about a bit and they've always stayed spot on. I've got an old burris signature on my anschutz .22 and its plenty good enough.
