J best thing you could do is go buy a few different type's and see what your gun prefers i used winchesters for ages then tried eleys and find they group a little better tried lapua the other day and they group brilliant, though the winnies seem to hit harder and although group the worst of the 3 they still group within a 10p at 60 yard which is a rabbits head or heart lung area and they are only £4 a box colin Edited November 28, 2013 by colin lad
Cannon
RWS HP Subs are extremely accurate through my
marktattoo
Depends on what you want to do with the round as a practice round I use the eley sport, eley match are good but you are looking at double the price of sport if you are target shooting, eley subs and winny subs depending on what I can get for field work
Imperfection
What are you shooting at? If its target Eley Sport are pretty damn good and Winchester solid subsonics come a very close second. If you're after a cheap plinking round American Eagle are fantastic for the price and will cycle in a semiauto just fine. If its rabbits i like Eley hollow points as they're reliable and group very well with Winchesters a very close second.

spandit
Eley and Winchester in my annie, the rws group like a shotgun! Just been using some cheap Winchester T22 - shotgun is a pretty good analogy!

J If it's paper you're hunting, eley match will achieve consistency beyond the capabilities of most rifle and shooter combinations. Match is twice the price of what you're using though and eley club might be a nice middle ground. For rabbits, eley sub HP are surprisingly consistent and could shoot 1" groups at 100 yards on a perfect day. Just to prove that I don't work for eley, I'll also recommend SK subsonic HP - that ammo is brilliantly consistent in my rifle.
bruno22rf
Eley or RWS subs or RWS hv for longer range.

bi9johnny
Cci standard velocity work just the same as subs noise wise in my 10/22 and cheap as chips
bullet boy
Winchester Subs in my Ruger 10/22-very accurate ammo indeed for me and my rifle.
cleaner4hire
SK subs were the best in my CZ by miles. Very consistent at 80yrds compared to the other offerings.
Rimfireboy
I've tried many different types in my un-ammo fussy anschutz and I thought they were all fairly similar for accuracy, eleys had the edge. Until I tried SK's, absolutely spot on. The most accurate HP's I've used.

sandspider
Winchester subs group best in my CZ 452 (and hit hard). Followed by CCI subs. Would like to try some SK at some point, they have a good rep.
