Scully Posted Tuesday at 19:41 Report Share Posted Tuesday at 19:41 There is a very very very nice Remington 11-87 trap at Bamfords Guns. Gorgeous wood. Having a look down on Thursday.

Pushandpull Posted Wednesday at 06:56 Report Share Posted Wednesday at 06:56 My great uncle Arthur went to seek his fortune in Canada. When he came home to join up in 1914 he didn't have much but did bring an early A5 which had belonged to the champion live pigeon shot of Canada. It served him well until his death over 40 years later. The motoring equivalent would be the 70 series Landcruiser.
arjimlad Posted Wednesday at 09:42 Report Share Posted Wednesday at 09:42 Can I join? I've had this Winchester SX3 since 2016, it's got a 3.5" chamber and reliably cycles anything from 24g upwards as long as it has a 70mm case. It's used for pigeons and clays, and the occasional fowling invitation. I've owned a Beretta AL390, and a 302 with an external choke collar, before this. The gun that is, if it is the same version, not only a copy of the Browning A-5 but will also "run", quite safely, with its rear top cover removed. As can be seen in a You Tube video. Good guns; a mate was frightened of getting his high grade Maxus marked in the hide, so sold it, bought one of these and had it multi choked by Teague. Cracking gun. 53 minutes ago, Newbie to this said: This one? Breda MK2.mp4 2.66 MB · 0 downloads That’s the badger! Paid 70 quid for one yonks ago and should never have sold the clunky old thing! Love the choke system and can’t think why it isn’t more common. Saw a bloke using one at a clay shoot last year and just knew I had to find another. The one I’m picking up tomorrow has a few chokes with it apparently, and has a 24” barrel. It will be my rough shoot/ doing the feeders gun. Can’t wait. nabbers Posted Wednesday at 22:05 Report Share Posted Wednesday at 22:05 Back in the Auto scene with this Browning Automatic that dates as 1925 built before they were named Auto 5. Fun finding the stock is hollow. Is mine the oldest owned by a PW user?

murray smith Posted Thursday at 18:25 Report Share Posted Thursday at 18:25 If there is a S/A Club I`ll join/support it, Beretta 12 G A301 and B80 20G, both shoot well on clays/PC and Pigeons/rabbits and be safe but pick up yr cartridge cases to avoid grief. The wood was genuinely gorgeous, and as surprisingly well priced as the gun was it just didn’t fit well at all. Shame. Thanks, yes, it is just an old brass and webbing sling I’ve had for years. Don’t forget to post pics when you get the A5. 👍
