Eley inside cartridge

Recommended Posts

Apologies if this has been on here already but I was reading another forum yesterday and came across a thread. the OP had decided to open up one of his cartridge's to find split shot, washers and different sized shot.

It wasn't just one apparently he opened a few and all were the same, full of junk.

No wonder why I cant hit nothing.

From what I can see from the picture it's all split or deformed shot.

I really can't see Eley loading cartridges with that rubbish.

Odd deformed shot, minor variations in size possibly, but that lot resembles the contents of my jacket pocket 40 years ago.

that stuff wouldnt run through an industrial loader, so fink its bogus.

I totally agree here that's the contents of a 14 year olds coat pocket and there is no way I believe that was loaded in to a cartridge the split shot will not be lead as it was banned over 20 years ago

This is a wind up
