I try and wear this outfit once a year as it is very special!

Given to me by my ole' gamekeeper friend the wool was hand sheared by himself from his sheep, sent the fleeces off to Brora north east Scotland to be spun and woven into a dense tweed.

Once returned he had a local tailor whom specialised in hunting wear make this suit. It is older than me....47years!

That will be the best shooting suit you ever own.

People think tweed is for toffs shooting 300 bird days 3 times a week… nonsense.

Whilst modern coats improve on tweed, I have no trousers in the wardrobe that I will take over my heavy duty Haggarts +4s. Foxing, stalking, rough shooting, beating, flighting, picking up or driven shooting…do the lot in + 4s.

Good on you, a suit to be proud of.
