As i said in yesterdays post this morning was to be my first day this year crow bashing. :)

Set up hid etc yesterday ready for a early start this morning. After i set up yesterday my mate Henry said he's smelt a fox on his rounds checking on the lambs.

Said i'd call back later last night. Got to Henry's just after dark quick walk around and spotted a fox sat on his backside, down with the pod on with the red XSearcher bang fox down. :) fox not looking to healthy.

On to this morning got up at 5 breakfast fed dogs etc left house at 5.55 for a 5 min spin to Henry's farm. Parked up and a 10 min walk down to where i'd set up.

Crows where coming in straight away but waited a while as there are 4 cottages near bye.

Started shooting and soon started to bag them. :) Shot very well as iv'e not shot for ages. I was set up over a stream as you will see in pics crows almost all came in straight at me dropped a load over the hedge behind and lot fell in brambles also into the stream. :sad1: lost a few in stream and in brambles could not get at them not getting scratched for no bloody crow. Finished shooting by 10 out of carts :sad1: could hear Henry on his quad coming down field behind gave him a call on mob told him to pick up the dead that side of fence. I Picked up these in pic 74 and picked 8 on way back to farm in field and Henry rung later + picked up 17 so with them in stream + brambles over a hundred :) so a good mornings crow bashing. He was very happy to. ATVB Terry

Thanks Chaps :good: can't beat a bit of crow bashing. Took a few corking high one's and the odd crosser. Love seeing them fold up and hitting the deck.

Was using a Berretta 687 EELL fixed choke 1/4 + 1/2 and Truss Super Halcon no 6 a good cartridge for crows. Decoys mixed shell and full body about 20no bought of The Pigeon Shooter

Shot every crows sat on my drum best thing i made for shooting. Had my afternoon kip  OLD man needs it like Bullet Boy tells me.:lol: atvb Terry
