Underdog
AM that is! Not been out for ages early and not seen a fox in daylight for ages too! I spied this one through the mist from high ground and he was messing about just inside the tree line. I got my skates on and got down from 200yds to about 40yds for the shot. . That done I snook about and it was a lovely morning, getting a good show of rabbit and pheasant compared to last spring, it makes a huge difference nobbling the fox's. Heading back I passed a farm and just around the back I spied another fox hunting something up! Turned out to be voles! I moved in! One vole to many for this Charlie! I was on my way back when I bumped into this feller hence the face mask had come off. About a 70yd shot...rested of a beech stump....handy! Brill morning, out from 5-9am, tired now n' got log cutting soon Underdog.

Had some ears on....very pleasant. No fat muffler, no sticks, no huge night vision thingies, no range finder

tonker
Well done U, I bet you have an early night tonight, I find that if I have an early one now it's always the day after I'm hanging at night (it's an age thing) and i can give you a few years.
