Well then chaps follow on from my last post about bariatric surgery

I travelled to Brno Czech Republic last Monday arriving at midnight and being given a meal of very nice vegetables and sent to bed, 5am Tuesday morning I had to start the tests to decide if I was ok to proceed.

I had a one hour psyco assessment , bloods, urine,e c g, ultra sound test, spiro test, X-rays , and finally an endoscopy and told to go back to bed and rest hehe half an hour later at 1pm I was taken to theatre and out like a light.

Awoken in I.c.u. And spent the night there before seeing a physio terrorist, having a stroll around and back to my room. Three days I.V's and more bloods and monitoring and then back home Friday by noon.

What an experience it was fabulous from start to finish, talk about 5* and being looked after would never get that here not even private.

I have been on liquid and very sloppy soup, fruit diet for one week and lost exactly a stone but I feel amazing.... My meals are the size of one and a half shot glasses and that's enough to make me satisfied plus liquids of protein and multi vit.

Could not recommend this clinic highly enough

Good luck to you I hope that all goes well personally I do not like the idea of having something like that done in a country that I do not speak there language even if most of them can speak english but that is up to you.

When I was in hospital with my hart problem in this country we seemed to have a lot of nurses that spoke english as a second language that is fine but misunderstandings can happen as there are many terms that we use in daily speech that that can cause confusion.
