Very good thanks for sharing. Went out to the beaches,cemeteries and the museum a few years ago very moving.

Yes we went to the US, UK, and German cemeteries in Brittany. For me the most moving was the German one. Many unknown graves, or 14/15 year old kids. The Germans were obviously pretty desperate towards the end of the war with regards to whom them conscripted.

Thought provoking post,the picture of moreton in the Marsh brings it home to me. I have parked in that car park,had breakfast with Jdog in the hotel...what if springs to mind.......

We owe a huge debt to that generation that put their lives on the line for all of us.
