Gordon R
Some will say they are brilliant - others will say they are garbage. At £200, you won't get much better value for money. I bought a 20 gauge Hatsan Escort, for my grandson - from top lad - Derekbomag on here. No complaints at all.

Davyo
Just had full refund on a one less than 4mths old, stared firing carts when the bolt slammed back, gun was found dangerouis and destroyed by edgar brothers.like prev said on other threads you get good and bad, but this has put me off for ever? Owned one before and never had any issues, however the new model just felt realy cheap. Edited August 6, 2014 by Davyo
samboy
I had one for a short while. started jamming so i got rid of it and bought a Beretta Outlander and have had no problems.
joecash
Remember the warranty only applies to the first user - like marmite, you will love it or hate it - i had 2 warranty claims on mine - only 15,000 shells through it
mossy835
i have the pump action, for the money nice gun to use,
colin lad
i had 2 a 20g that i used over ferrets and a 12g that i used for pigeon shooting, after reading some of the stories of jamming i made an effort to clean after each use and use 67mm shells or above and i had no probs at all, my only issue and the reason i went back to o/u was purely the hassle picking all the shells up after colin
Dekers
All these years on people still ask the question, there must be some way all the problem posts on Hatsan could be pinned!
Duckman91
I've got one with flush chokes it's a mk2. It cycles everything from clay carts upwards but like everyone says you either get a good one or a carp one
kingo15
Our man wabbitbosher aka zombie man has a camo version for sale not sure if its the 3" magnum version for sale just of £200. My uncle has had one for about 2 years now no issues what so ever with his. But there is plenty that have. Guess it is pot luck if you get a friday gun

Now that's a dangerous fault, I think I would have messed my pants if that happened to me - then following a shower and clean up I would have made it my mission to see heads roll. Not literally you understand, but the point is someone without good gun handling practice could have blown off their own foot - or worse. Davyo
They where at 1st going to repair the gun but it had previous been back only after 5 weeks with a diff issue, so this was the second time. I stated that a repair was not an option as I would not be keeping it and I would not be comfortable selling it on knowing the history of the gun. I also stated that I would refuse a brand new replacement from the same batch and demanded a full refund under sale of goods act.Edgar bros where brilliant and they arranged for the RDF to refund me in full.i have has a escort years ago and it was faultless, however this new model just felt even cheaper and quality was no where near the same. The carrier just seemed to have a lot of play from the start , Ioaned it to a mate and it nearly took his thumb off when he was inserting a cartridge when the bolt closed on him.I wouldn't have another one now but saying that they are mass produced and thousands are sold so we do read quite a few things like choke problems and jamming cart but mine hopefully was an extreme I I would however be concerned that there may be guns out there from the same batch as mine out there and would expect there to be a recall,
Reeceknight
mine caused a stir on here, it would fire off all 3 shots at once, or however many was in it. it slam fired every time and if it didn't slam fire it jammed with every cartridge I used, hatsan swiftly collected it and I was given a refund as it was a brand new one. my three is on here somwere

merseapaul
I was very sceptical before taking the plunge like you. I bought new though as thought with the very good warranty that comes you just send it back, so far though no regrets or problems.

What is very good about that, most are 10 years these days!

I thought one to three was pretty much the standard?.I don't know about "most" but I know with Beretta if you want 10 years you have to pay for it!, can't imagine any others doing it for free. I bought a second hand one, took it back to dealer after only one day. He supposedly sorted it out but was never any good and it gave up the ghost completely after less than 100 cartridges. Wouldn't touch one now under any circumstance. In saying all that I might have just been unlucky. But then again should one have to rely on luck to have a descent gun!
