fenboy
Of those on your list i would go for the skeetex , I have learnt the hard way to avoid any clothing or footwear that has jack pyke written on it.

This pair is awesome for supporting the ankle . Can't bend down / backwards etc without completely moving best boot I've owned

Harry Callahan
Have recently bought a pair of Karrimor boots from Sports Direct, mainly for hiking/hill walking and walking the dog but am very impressed with them so far. Only had them 6 weeks but im struggling to think iv ever bought better quality for just £40 - iv certainly paid more as double that and been abit dissapointed in the past! Just need to see how they stand upto life.....

I also have jack pike hunter wellies and had no problems but my friend has them too and they leak and others have had the same problem.
