Imperfection
Might be better if you make an appointment with a vet as it would certainly be quicker and the process must be the same...
timmytree
Try warm olive oil dripped in each lughole, that softens the wax.
wascal
suppose ill have to try out the wife's new turkey baster early and do it myself. Boots do a "DIY" kit with a rubber bulb gizmo use lots of warm water ,takes about 10 mins to soften up the wax then it works well.

STOTTO
‘DIY Ear Decoke’, try going to the swimming pool and go down to the bottom at the deep-end a few times, when you get home blow your nose hard into a handkerchief, and that should do the trick. islandgun
Boots ear wax remover, dual action, presume dual action means that it removes the wax and makes a mess of your shirt
maxie
I once tried to syringe my ears myself because I couldn`t be bothered to make an appointment.I used a Fairy liquid bottle filled with warm water and bubble bath, result ear infection and a ear bashing from the district nurse.Never again. Peskyfoxs
You can't even book one at my local docs, you have to call at 8am (along with the rest of the town it would appear) its then engaged for 40 mins and then when you get through no appointments so call at 8am tomorrow. No other way of getting one either ..can't even book a month in advance if not urgent.
billytheghillie
well all you guys rip the urine out of us jocks, but if I phone at 8 a.m. I will get seen that morning. proper health service up here
kyska
In fact, why are you whining OP? You only need your ears sorting so you can buy some ear defenders, that's hardly an urgent appointment, you'd be moaning when you had a real need and found out you couldn't get seen because someone needs their ears cleaning out. The old lass that is the NHS has her problems, as she slowly sinks to her knees in exhaustion, but really, you're moaning about getting an appointment, that isn't needed medically? wascal
That's one thing I miss after leaving the forces , same day appointments and free perscriptions although I only went to the docs about half a dozen times in 26 years
