my 400 Xtreme travels in this one .

Feeds in from the end , Velcro strap , no zip and long enough for an extended choke to . I find the folding sections the best feature .

Should be Available in the UK or via E bay link,

had one made will look out the maker based on roll up one but longer, shoulder strap on side rather than edge and all plastic closure clips simple but on its 4th season on the marsh think it was about £20

Sounds like the Jack Pyke one I just got. Best designed slip I ever had,.....

Get the hacksaw out. Get a rough measure at 24.5 inches and get cutting (make sure it's from the breech end). This enables you to get any gun slip you want and saves all the problems of what chokes you require for what bird and what load. There is proof out there that this works, I haven't done it as I can find my tape measure.

Made this out of the leg of an old pair of neoprene waders. Edges are glued and stitched so it's waterproof. It's not clear on the pic but there's a velcro flap to close the top. This takes my 32" barreled SXS 10g but could be made to fit whatever you want. Folds over so the stock and barrels lie next to each other, stuff it in your big rucksack with the barrels poking out of the top or carry using the shoulder strap. When it wears out, I've still got the other leg! Am I a cheapskate or what?

I use the camo hunter floating type from John Forsey. Love mine. No zips all Velcro which is great. Also the strap is designed to make it easy to carry when trudging over coastal mud. Its not overly long in its placement on the slip which helps it fit you better.

I wonder who did that ayano3?

Our club secretary tried a few years ago and finished with one barrel longer that the other. The off-cut is now part of the Gedney drove end stand at country shows.

I also know someone who did this to a lovely sx3 as he was too tight to buy a true cylinder choke and a long gun slip. The cost of the modifications was £50 and the gun slip £30😂
