Lloyd90
Anyone ever sprayed a moderator ? I have an ASE UTRA Northstar, it's a great mod and no problems. Just my rifle is blued and the mod is a dark silver. It's not really a big deal but I saw a post on stalking directory where someone had sprayed similar with a metal high temp paint. Similar to one you'd spray onto a BBQ. I did PM the fella and he sent me a link to one similar. I'm tempted just wondering what you guys reckon ? Alternatively anyone know a good neoprene cover got a ase mod might be better idea lol
brett1985
no reason you cant paint one. as long as the surface is keyed well then it shouldnt come off. i high temp paint will be pretty durable too. i have used matt black manifold paint on shotgun barrels before and it gives a very good finish. its also very forgiving to spray.... steve_b_wales
I would just cover it with the self cling camo bandage that you can buy. It also helps reflect deflect any light off a lamp as well.

walshie
I would just cover it with the self cling camo bandage that you can buy. It also helps reflect any light off a lamp as well. Why would you want to reflect light off a lamp?

fruity
A coat of acid etch undercoat before the top coat helps with adhesion and limits chipping

Bewsher500
stretch a bicycle inner tube over it after a light coating of oil. keeps it original if you sell in future, makes it quieter bot shooting and dragging through trees! stops light reflecting when lamping..... oh and it wont, chip flake, scratch etc
RichardH
Tactical coating is where I use. Herefordshire. RichardH When you post the mod back is it direct to back to RFD? No it's just a repair, can be returned to the address on your certificate.
