al4x
As said the one you will get most choice from would be a new shape l200, a hilux you'll be looking at 10 year old versions. Isuzu if you can find one they are pricey the Nissan would be an option but they just seem a bit too big for my liking.

young airgunner
Would people really recommend a navara? What are they like off road. I thought they were also prone to problems aswell as the d22. I had been looking at 2007 ford Rangers. Been advised to steer clear of l200 because of head problems
Only1cliff
I'm in the same boat. I've got it down to a Navara and a Hilux
jonesbach
L200! I have a 2009 model, can't fault it towing, off road(not tried it on extreme!)and get 37mpg combined. Avoid the engines before 2006 - that's the head problem engine. Navara - prone to clutch problems I'm told from some friends driving company navaras! Ford ranger- I know fuel consumption ain't gonna be tremendous on any 4x4 but these will drink you dry!!

Harnser
That will buy you a very decent Navara . I drive a 2010 navara teckna that has been family owned from new . It is just coming up for 45,000 miles . Other than servicing it has cost £180 for a rear diff hardy spicer joint . young airgunner
Are the navara's not prone to prop shaft and clutch problems? Also what are they like off-road, adding as they are a big truck
al4x
They are if you tow heavy loads about much. If not they seem fine, the size is what puts me off them
