Blunderbuss
Agree about moderators. They've become the default setting and I'm as guilty as anyone else, I have them on three of my rifles. I sometimes question why, twenty or thirty years ago it was a lot rarer, especially on centrefires. They trash the balance, handling and aesthetic of any rifle they are fitted to IMHO. SPARKIE
Not many ugly guns but lots of ugly owners...lol
RossEM
Manufrance O/U .410 was an ugly one. I saw a Beretta O/U clay gun at a gamefair once, had a multicoloured plastic stock, just awful Agreed on Krieghoff and SKB...and the mud/ronseal/puke mix on low-end Brownings!! Berettacocker
Baikal, especially SS, also Strasser rifles, and any sporting rifle that looks like it should be used in American Sniper and not in the shooting field!

mick miller
Rifles; anything tactical that makes you look a bit Walty. I don't get the excitement over anything made by AI for instance. They look like a meccano kit and would be more at home on a battlefield. Fugly.
shootgun
All shotguns so far? Rifle wise I think Blasers are pug ugly. Also, any kind of bullpup rifle whoever makes it. This one is probably going to make me unpopular, but I think thumbhole stocks are hideous I think the Blasers looks very good IMO, especially the ones with open sights and no mod on it. I have to agree the thumbhole stocks are ugly though.. Any gun with a moderator on it or any shot gun with a non walnut stock . Harnser You're absolutely right! I agree with above but love the look of my Cynergy Sporting 20ga with "normal" stock. Shoots beautifully too. Dunkield
Agree about moderators. They've become the default setting and I'm as guilty as anyone else, I have them on three of my rifles. I sometimes question why, twenty or thirty years ago it was a lot rarer, especially on centrefires. I agree, they do but there is the practical side to using them (says he who said he would never have on his centrefire but now has them on both :( ) I don't like shooting with people without them now, and I have met plenty of near deaf shooters much younger than me. mick miller
We don't all have acres of land to shoot over surrounded by further acres of land, as in the bleak, windswept death-of-all-hope expanses of Norfolk. If I didn't use a moderated rifle the inquisitive Police attendances to my nightly forays and complaints from the general public would sky rocket! Not pampering! That may help. Besides a sonic crack is still able to damage lug holes!
