I have a good bit of catching up to compared to you chaps, only a miserly 5 just now. I have a hankering for a 28g but next on the list will be a SxS, ideally a 20g, but a nice 12g will do just dandy too.

Splitting the difference/amalgamating, another gun I don't need at all but want is a 28b sxs (by a Birmingham maker). Duckandswing
I want a muzzle loader now. Shot one today for the first time. Absolutely stunning. There is something about cocking the gun, very purposeful. Then the flash and cloud off smoke. Loved it.

If you're after a sxs don't forget your tickets next weekend; you never know. There have been some good gun stalls at Lowther the past few years. Lord O War
Well if the missus ever complains about me having 2, I will just point her here and tell her that I am quite restrained. Although she may have a point with the 50+ deactivated guns I have.

saddler
Got 5 Not guns, cabinets. Guidance to Police states that number of guns alone is insufficient reason to insist on an alarm. I get advised to get an alarm & I'll do so, but my RFD application would be going in too....
