markm
I had a red and white setter, she was very small and from working stock (I wish I had a penny for every person who said she was a nice spaniel) My mum now has a rescue red and white, big dog from show stock. People stop her and say its the biggest spaniel they've ever seen.

Danger-Mouse
I don`t know if they`re worked but there`s a lady at a local clay shoot who has a pair of Large Munsterlanders (and that`s not a euphamism). I thought they were some kind of setter when I first saw them. Lovely looking and tempered dogs.
loriusgarrulus
Irish red setter. I think the musterlander has setter in its breeding way back. There is also a small musterlander about springer sized.
rimfire4969
Not mine but on our shoot yesterday a large German Sheperd retrieved a duck from the water, I have seen him pick up a pheasant before but this was a proper retrieve from the water. My spaniel was a bit miffed.

Carman06
Don't think my dog would ever take to it. He would get the birds but you wouldn't as he loves them too much. Also not very good off lead.
Dirty Harry
I've got two German Wirehaired Pointers and a JRT. You don't see that many wires about.
cracker
My Spinone's ten years old and still working as well as ever. RE: Any 1 got gun dogs that's not ur typical breads? I had a spinone named Panettone that wasn't "ur typical bread" - she was named after the traditional Italian Easter bread though. Only wish she'd lived to see 10 years old to be working as well as ever - great dogs, spins, with proper gundog training. Especially at getting their big mitts (paws) into the water for retrieving.
