Fredwalton
Hi I wad wondering if any knew if it is possible to make a non ejector into an ejector and how much this can cost etc? Thanks
Zapp
I'd imagine it wouldnt be cheap. Wabbitbosher might be able to give you an idea.
arjimlad
Prohibitively costly and the result is likely to be less reliable than a gun built as an ejector from the outset.
subsonicnat
Not Worth it at all, cheaper to buy one as ejector: Cost would be Silly money, as said cost prohibitive::
Blackpowder
As above, if you do not shot driven game you do not need an ejector. Blackpowder
Stonepark
Ejectors are difficult to re-engineer on to a gun (and then will need new fore end etc) Unless in very limited circumstances ejectors are not required. I can unload/load just as quick without as with, it is all technique.
welshwarrior
Everything is possible it's just if you can avoid to do it. Cheaper to buy a new gun.
ChrisAsh
I know Yildiz make the same 410 with and without ejectorsso fair to assume guns for them are made to take either option when being built , so maybe just maybe your gun is fitted for ejectors but not with them which may or may not be a reasonably priced upgrade
Fredwalton
Thought this would be the case, I asked as I have a sbs that I would like to start using again but it just annoys me not being an ejector. But will have to deal with it. Thanks for all of your replies
wisdom
Personally I prefer non ejector with good technique can be just as fast.
Fredwalton
Will have to start practising then. I just prefer the idea of having my sbs when on a driven day
kyska
Personally I prefer non ejector with good technique can be just as fast. Me too, I get no benefit from ejectors, not that I mind them.
dougall
as above hugely costly and cannot see point.most folk with ejectors these days 'stop' the shells anyway!

Gunman
If its a Purdey , Boss or Holland then its worth spending the couple of grand or so it will cost . Other wise not worth even considering . I have a mint , as in unused, AyA No 4 non ejector , I have an AyA ejector forend .Even with that its not worth the trouble . I think the Non ejector may be a No.3, the same gun as the No. 4 apart from the ejectors.
Fredwalton
Unless I win the lottery it will stay as a non ejector then
