sako751sg
I expect stick tomorrow, but I take Tyson Fury to win. I know the lad on the right, very well. He tells me Tyson is a smashing lad away from the cameras. Great shout. Hope you had a quid or two on it.
Bazooka Joe
If you have a skim through the stuff that's happened in the build up, (homosexuality comments, devil worship accusations, turning up to a press conference dressed as batman, breaking a melon over his own head...) The mind boggles what's next... **** me...a karaoke. Edited November 28, 2015 by Bazooka Joe

pigeonblasterian
Just glad i did not have to pay to watch the fight as it was not a great fight. But credit where it is due and Fury deserved the win in the end.

rich1984
Am i right in thinking there was a re match in the contract ? Although i think Fury would win again on wk's performance tonight.
SuperGoose75
I hoped for a boxing match. not the slightly gay cuddle fest that was 12 rounds of tripe that is still being over hyped by hysterical commentary teams You said it. Heavy weight Boxing is in a sad state of affairs. Fury was hard to listen to before' I dread to think of what it is gonna be like now. I cant knock the decision though. poontang
I had you down for a Waitrose brawler. God no. It's all a bit 'Queensberry Rules' at Waitrose. I fight dirty...so it's Tesco for me. I don't suppose you get much trouble at Holland and Barrett do you?
bazzab
What has boxing become where a useless berk like that can become a world champion?? Embaressing. The blokes a disgrace. Hopefully won't last long. RIP boxing..

Chickpeas can hurt actually, granted there aren't many vegetarians strong enough to throw them hard, but feelings can get serious grazes too. shoot and be safe
Fury deserved the win, but did we deserve his singing
bentbarrel
I booked Fury do an after dinner speech at a charity boxing night that I organised in February. He was a top bloke and couldn't do enough for us, even in February he was completely confident that he was going to win!

sako751sg
Be interesting to see if WK takes the re-match. Pretty sure it would have been written into the contract and considering hes not long signed a 5 fight deal his promoters will be keen to get some big money fights from him. panoma1
His attitude and antics on camera gets him noticed and also they get under the skin of everyone including his opponent, Its theatre! This started with Cassius Clay...........I wouldn't mind betting he's different character off camera? Don't believe everything you hear to see in the media! Gordon R
Having watched the fight live, I was surprised just how battered Wlad's face was. The cut near his right eye didn't look so bad - live. He looks old - suddenly. Despite rematch clauses, I think Wlad should retire.
KFC
More like a hugathon. The Klit lost because he couldn't hug Fury into submission the way he has with all his other opponents.
Pushkin
Oh dear - an awful lot of sour grapes on this thread. Armchair professionals in most instances and it seems your thoughts and predictions were so awry. Well I'm sorry about what I'm about to say lads but "TOUGH BROWN STUFF" (No I'm not sorry for having said it.) I really do not understand what your problems are for those who have not had a good word to say about the man: He just beat the world champion - so if you are unhappy then it should not be against Fury it should be against Klitschko for not giving you the fight you seem to feel he should have given -eg knock Fury into next week and retain your world title. Get away with you. A square go in the ring under MQB rules is no avoidance ticket, you get in there and fight to win - doesn't mattter about your style as long as its clean and punishes the other person for not being good enough to beat you. "AND HE DID - IN BUCKETS" I suppose you folks would all rather see Prince Naseem and all his wafting around the ring - if I recall it was a take off from Nigel Benn's nemesis and all his pouting etc. All yourself lads, but I think you are speaking through a hole in your backside if you cannot accept the fact the guy won - against all your terrible predictions and in quite a few cases "HOPES". Would you have been happier if Klitschko won? And if so - why? Just a wee pointer for some of you too. The names you were calling him in this open thread could be taken as discrimination given the newest legislation about how you speak about other's life styles, creed, religion etc etc etc, What chance for you in an open court if someone brings that up? SHAMEe on you I say. He is still British regardless of what creed he was born into. He has turned his life into something really positive and has worked very hard to get there. Is it possible you are jealous of the reported 30 million pounds deal with everything associated with becoming the British world champion? And if yes why? Becuse in your words you have discriminated against him by calling him a ***** or as near as damn it. I think the moon is made of cheese after all. Get away with you - bunch of hipocrats (don't really care about how this is spelt it makes the point). is that the tune Dixie I can hear? Well I wonder what type of ripostes this will bring eh Okay folks i've tidied it up a bit - hope the spelling now passes muster Pushkin Edited November 30, 2015 by Pushkin
Gordon R
Pushkin - I feel entitled to respond to your diatribe, as I did predict a Fury win. As for your lecture on what some have written - re-read your own post. It's not one I would be proud of.
