Davyo
If someone bid and won an item you where selling, but didn't pay or make contact within 24 hrs would you email them or just wait a little longer.Im tempted to email them and if no response, realist as there where other bidders,
jonny thomas
Some people take ages to pay Don't know why I usually get so wrapped up in the action when bidding I pay straight away

team tractor
I've sold stuff and was never paid. eBay didn't want to know
panoma1
I send an invoice within hours of the end of the auction, I leave it 3 days then if the winner still hasn't paid....I contact the buyer via eBay...another 2/3 days and I register the non payment to eBay and offer it to the next highest bidder as a second chance offer if the item has more than one bidder. Some time wasting, welshing b*******s never pay!
sishyplops
24 hrs is not long, leave it at least 72 hrs
Paddy Galore!
24hrs is no time at all, just had to wait a week for a guy to pick up and pay for my cordless gear, not a problem in my eyes, he had a bit of travelling to do, but he did keep in touch. more than can be said for a few toe rags from this site in the past. loriusgarrulus
They might have gone out for the weekend and not everyone has a mobile phone that connects to the internet. This time of year folks often visit family for the weekend.

sportsbob
Firstly you should put a time to pay by in your listing, I use 2 days then if If they have not paid within 48 hrs you can open a case with ebay for a non paying bidder. Ebay send them an email asking them to pay which usually works but if they don`t pay then within another 3 days they get an unpaid item strike against them and you get a refund on the final valuation fee. Once this has happened you can move to the next bidder and give them the second chance offer or relist if you like.

You can if they don't pay for the goods but if you read my post all I said was check there feedback,as this would show you if they are more or less honest so HE won't have a problem getting payed.where did it say give him negative feedback because I can't see that. Vince Green
A week or more to pay is not unusual l have had a few slow ones. You do get them that never pay as well mind you but you have to give them 'reasonable time' whatever that means
Davyo
Buyer has 100% feedback & turns out to be a comuter shop.Guy emailed last night to say will pay 1st thing, but still no payment.Think I will withdraw from sale. rjimmer
Don't panic, especially if you are satisfied with the price. Not everybody keeps loads in their bank account all the time. Might have to transfer some funds into the account linked to PayPal for example.

I can't leave him neg feedback ( he is 100%) as he got me to cancel the sale from my end( obviously knows what he's doing & I don't lol) plus I can't seem to get it to go to 2nd chance offer what ever you call it.Proper stitched up & lesson learnt.
