rovercoupe
I was over at coniston the other day and they had a stack of kent cartridges in clay loads, I thought gamebore bought them and finished them off?
Squash wavy
They've kept the brand from what I've seen
White Rabbit
I could be wrong but I think it's the other way around. Kent is a large american company who bought Gamebore out. Happy to be corrected though. Out of interest, what are they stocking? WR.
Guest topshot_2k
Yes Kent took over Gamebore. Most gunshops used to stock Kent cartridges but I haven't seen them about much the last few years Edited February 24, 2016 by topshot_2k

DaveyTed
Kent bought out Gamebore in 1998. Since then the Kent brandname has been used in UK for the budget Gamebore range. According to my local RFD they Have been replaced by Gamebore Velocity 29gm 6 and Velocity+ 28gm 7.5.
dodeer
Many gamebore dealers have got a load of Kent 1oz clay loads in. Probably a large cancelled order or something.
Westley
There is a relatively new Kent/Gamebore clay cartridge being sold in large numbers at present. I have just bought 1000 to try, my shooting pals tell me that they are the dogs sphericals, I have yet to try them. In plastic wad, 28 gram, 7.5 shot at under £140/1000. They are MMXVI or whatever the Roman equivalent of 2016 is. I do not see why they will not kill pigeons at sensible ranges.

Westley
Good cheap shells. They go bang. By all accounts they also break clays very well and are very clean, certainly in plastic wad. I will tell you after tomorrow.

wymberley
Wrong! Kent bought Gamebore out! Any idea of what happened next? There's a recognisable name at the steel Shot Company.
rbrowning2
Wymberley, I think gamebore brought out Kent cartridges uk in the county of Kent and later Kent cartridges USA brought out gamebore. Kent cartridges in Kent invented one of the non-toxic shot types and it was this that gamebore wanted and hence brought them out via an offer they could not refuse or that was the story told at the time. http://kentgamebore.com/ http://kentgamebore.com/about/. 1998 purchased gamebore.
