shaun4860
As title, It's a shame for Brian Johnson but surely they could have got someone better? Johnson has had to pack it in rather than risk permanent hearing loss. Rose was ok in his heyday but his voice doesn't transfer to AC/DC in my opinion. jonny thomas
Long history of this type of thing in heavy metal groups There was a programme on a few years ago on the heavy metal family tree it got quite confusing as to who was in what band when

Big Al
I think Axl is only filling in as "Guest Vocalist" for the remainder of the World Tour. But it could also be a bit of an audition. .. With Malcolm and Brian (and Bon before him) gone, is it really still AC/DC? I know Angus has always been the leading attraction, but could it be time to bow out gracefully rather than keep going as a watered down version, living off past glories? It's better to burn out than to fade away.

AC/DC another of my favourite bands of all time but i do agree with this, let it end without trying to go on and on and turning a great band into a tribute act.. remmy1100
my partner has tickets for them for when they come to uk and cannot stand axil rose so shes hoping there will be chance of refund as when she bought them it was to see acdc as a hole not fronted by axil rose good luck with that one pet
Budice
They should have got the guy from Livewire (the best AC/DC tribute band) to stand in for Brian. At least then they would have someone who can actually sing the songs as they should be sung
TIGHTCHOKE
Oh well that will see a lot of disapointed fans waiting for Mr Rose to turn up, he is not as tallented as he thinks and seriously disrespects his shrinking fan base. I think Axl is only filling in as "Guest Vocalist" for the remainder of the World Tour. But it could also be a bit of an audition. ..With Malcolm and Brian (and Bon before him) gone, is it really still AC/DC? Perhaps they could become an instrumental only band!
MonkeyKong
I would be looking to get my money back if I had tickets. GnR not sounding too great these days. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7brXycvcWgs

feaks
I've tickets coming for the Olympic Stadium, back they go I think. GnR and AR were good in the day but I'm not taking any chances. Might have to see Rammstein at Download now to get that persistent ringing in both ears !

Mark74
Apparently Brian's hearing is not as bad as its been made to look, he's said to be feeling "thrown to the curb" by the band, which would be very sad if true. He certainly deserves better than that. Reading ACDC's statement it looks like he's out permanently not just from touring. As for Rose....bad enough he's taking over for the tour, I would rather ACDC call it a day than keep going without Brian, Malcolm & Phil Rudd

ben0850
That stinks! Seen axl rose live and he was woeful even in his day...better for ACDC to just pack in, the thought of 'whole lotta rosey' etc being sung by Axl Rose makes me feel billious!
