RFD transfer charges

Recommended Posts

What does your local RFD charge to post out a gun for you ? I've just been quoted £85 to send a rifle and scope!!!! £50 for postage , £35 for paperwork! Sounds abit expensive? If anyone knows anywhere in north Hampshire cheaper, can you let me know 😀

Daf if you can provide the same service for much less, why are the others charging so much ? BB

Spready who quoted you £85 ?( I could probably guess who) drop me a Pm if you don't want to post it on here

Guess I don't see it as that time consuming also gets another person to the door who may latter on need a service and refurb or something else we offer, so sort of word of mouth advertising to me really.

Fultons have a name and history and a couple of people who know what they are doing.

They are also clueless at times, give duff advice, rely on their name, live in the past and simply don't understand customer service.

I post myself using Royal Mail. Costs around £20 depending on weight.

Just keep the size dimensions within their limits: plus read the Royal Mail website section "Guns for sporting use"

Using a mailing tube is better for length restrictions.
