Cyclists - not what I was expecting.

We were driving into Cambridge late this afternoon and sat in traffic, held up while a large group of cyclists were let through. Thought it would be the normal group of men in lycra but oh no. They were all start ******* naked. Men & women, young & old, big & small, fit & less fit, dangly and not dangly.

I didn't know where to look. The wife and kids were in in hysterics.

I think they aim to promote cycle safety. Not sure how distracting motorists helps that!

They should have been arrested, as said by Walshie, do that in Tescos and you will be arrested, they will have exposed themselves to more people cycling around than by loitering near the fresh produce aisle!

But they're cyclists, and we all know they're beyond the law.

I think I'd dislike 'bike *******' slightly less if they paid road tax of some description and also had insurance. It's their sheer arrogance on country roads when they hold up the traffic and don't fall into single file when its clear that 2 abreast cycling isn't appropriate. I met 20 or so on a single track road (my road as it happens) and they were furious when they had to stop and move onto the grass verges to let me past. Rant over
