Yep you read that right, this was taken with an iPhone 6s Plus. The recent update has allowed RAW files to be taken using an iPhone.

Sat on a local view point and was kicking myself that I didn't have my camera on me! But then I had a brainwave! 'I can shoot in RAW on my iPhone...'

First time I've done it and I love the result!

Excellent work... 9.98 out of 10...I would have given it 10 if it wasn't for that hideous wind farm in the distance

Haha! Thanks Adge :good:

Yes the wind farm is a shame! But the scale of it is pretty impressive I've always thought. You're looking over towards Formby/Crosby area (North West).

Great pic, ive took better photos on my iphone than with an expensive camera. Love how far and wide the veiw is and the shadowy clouds :good:

Thanks figgy :good: yes, phone cameras these days are great. But after all, a good composition on a phone is better than a poor composition on a DSLR... although a good composition on a DSLR is the winner lol
