figgy
The Pigeon Watch game bag is the only one to have. Have a look in the sales section, I've had mine a few years now and can't fault it. http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/193685-pigeon-watch-gamebags/ Edited December 26, 2016 by figgy
scotslad
Depends wot ur doing with it. Difference between serious picking up (althou i find some carriers better/handier and cheaper) or carrying the odd bird about a few times a year The best game bags i've seen are sort off heavy PVC and don't look great to look at and are/were about 60ish quid (Game and country at selkirk sell them) u really can totally abuse them and they still last for years and years. I have a nicer looking 1 that was cheaper and has lasted a long time but no way would it cope with the abuse my pvc 1 gets.

darren 67
One bit of advice you need to think about!!! If you have a large gamebag anyone and everyone who doesn't have one will give you their birds to carry. Can get rathr heavy after a short while 😉

scotslad
I see ur from mid lothain, take a run down to richards at Game and country at selkirk (sometimes has some decent gear on the clearance rails too) to look at his bags, like i said not pretty to look at but all the keepers and pickers up in this area almost exclusively use those bags. A real decent size plenty of room for waterproofs, lunch if needed, some other odds and **** and quite a few birds, good really wide strong padded strap too. God knows how old mine is, was old when i got given it and that was 10 odd years ago, done a lot of picking up with it and its never needed fixed. My cheaper nicer looking 1 has been back to the cobblers a lot to get things strengthened restiched They do look quite small thoose bags above

oowee
Make up a game carrier for your belt. Costs nothing and no one will ask you to carry their birds.
smokinggun
I use the large one of these and its a really good bag, wipes clean inside as well easily. I got mine from mole valley farmers but they dont seem to sell it any more. https://www.ardmoor.co.uk/david-nickerson-canvas-game-bag-jr-dav-dngbe
ElvisThePelvis
Nothing wrong with these .. http://www.molevalleyfarmers.com/mvf/store/products/bisley-canvas-game-bag
scotslad
http://www.gameandcountry.co.uk/The+Original+PVC+Game+Bag/0_CAAA144_CAAA314/PRAA690.htm Dunno if that link will work, never really done them afore. For an average rough shooter they will last a lifetime, and being PVC u just hose the whole bag out inside and out if/when neded. And plenty big enough for all u'd ever need but quite flat/comfy to wear when almost empty If ur doing serious picking up bags are still easily up to the job but i usually carry 3-4 game carriers too as takes the strain of the bag, can spread the wieght over both shoulders and more importantly u can hand them easily to other folk/beaters to carry to the game cart if u have a rake of birds to carry out
