johnphilip
Affinity all day long, think they are a bit more money wise, but they seem to come up better.
mossy835
the a612 is a good gun for the money, love mine never missed a beat.
Ian North Wales
I have the Affinity, Had it about 12 months now maybe. I'm very happy with it feels very good quality.
figgy
The Affinity is double the price of the A612. I'd buy a used Benelli M2 for around the cost of a new Affinity. Will retain its value well. Nothing wrong with a A612 if you pick one up and like it it will do all you need and is softer shooting being a gas operated action where the Franchi and Benelli use inertia actions rarely need cleaning. Ian North Wales
That's one of the best things about this gun, the inertia action is fantastic. Very clean and mine will cycle 2 1/2, 2 3/4 and 3 in shells no problem.
Wingman
I like the Armsan shot one recently and I was impressed with the overall build quality for the price. I would choose one over a Hatsan personally as it felt a bit better put together. Didnt much care for the red anodized receiver though on the one I tried! Stimo22
I have a Franchi Affinity and have put several hundred shells throught it and it has not missed a beat. Both at clays and at ducks with 3" steel shells. It came with a seven year warranty so they must be confident in the quality. It seems very well made and I am really please with it, you should really try to get a few shots with both and compare them.
tonker
A612, have put I don't know how many through mine, never misses a beat and I find it easy to strip down and clean(not very often) the only other auto I have is an old 301 so can't comment on the Affinity as never used or even seen one up close. hankook1
armsan a612 superb gun cant go wrong and come with a 4 year warranty + they use beretta mobil chokes
sportsbob
I have both I have had the Affinity for three months but I still feel more comfortable with the A612. The Affinity has more lift or drop options with the shims and only left or right cast also you can only fit one shim at a time . The A612 has more variations of cast and you can fit two or more shims at the same time which means I can get a better fit with A612. sportsbob
I forgot to mention the Franchi has a longer action which makes the gun about an inch longer with the same barrel length, also the A612 is a gas opp so it is slightly softer to shoot but takes a little longer to clean . Caravanman
26" will be grand. If you feel it's to short then you can always add an extended choke.

impala59
Isn't that the great thing about buying guns? seek advice, get loads of votes for each type and then go buy something else! Classic! We all do it ! That aside, enjoy the Winchester! (I'm told and I believe) they are great guns!
