The Affinity is double the price of the A612.

I'd buy a used Benelli M2 for around the cost of a new Affinity. Will retain its value well. Nothing wrong with a A612 if you pick one up and like it it will do all you need and is softer shooting being a gas operated action where the Franchi and Benelli use inertia actions rarely need cleaning.

I like the Armsan shot one recently and I was impressed with the overall build quality for the price. I would choose one over a Hatsan personally as it felt a bit better put together.

Didnt much care for the red anodized receiver though on the one I tried!

I have a Franchi Affinity and have put several hundred shells throught it and it has not missed a beat. Both at clays and at ducks with 3" steel shells. It came with a seven year warranty so they must be confident in the quality. It seems very well made and I am really please with it, you should really try to get a few shots with both and compare them.

A612, have put I don't know how many through mine, never misses a beat and I find it easy to strip down and clean(not very often) the only other auto I have is an old 301 so can't comment on the Affinity as never used or even seen one up close.

I have both I have had the Affinity for three months but I still feel more comfortable with the A612. The Affinity has more lift or drop options with the shims and only left or right cast also you can only fit one shim at a time . The A612 has more variations of cast and you can fit two or more shims at the same time which means I can get a better fit with A612.
