US leaks sensitive information about Manchester bomb

This was leaked by someone here in the UK, no doubt cash changed hands. Someone within the police and security services need culling. Reporters and news media have no morals when it comes to printing a scoop.

I very much doubt that, intelligence is shared between Police Forces, Military Units and Countries.

when you say 'they', its unlikely to be anybody other than a trouble maker, somewhere in the system.

I doubt trump even knew, maybe its designed to change the subject a bit if you like.

This is an extremely un-professional act by someone in the loop.

The Americans released the name of the suicide bomber before our Anti-Terrorist Police wanted it in the public domain.

hello, ok so who would be taking these photos ? i presume digital and then up loaded on to what should be a safe computer system, cannot be many people involved, so how did the USA newspaper get this information to print ? should this have happened? NO!!!!!! has someone from inside the forensics leaked this ? HAS this newspaper thought that this was classified information to secure a conviction not jeopardize it, lest we not forget the 22 killed and 50 ? or more injured some very serious including young children, if i were a relative of these i would want answers

Police Forensic staff will have taken the photographs. They are then shared with a list I included above.

Someone on the other side of the Atlantic decided to put them in to the public domain!

Good luck with catching them.

History is littered with" whats in it for me" scum, they dont care about catching the evil people behind this .Only how much can i make and as we know journo,s are gutter dweller,s who "protect" their sources so good luck with finding the worm that got paid for the name and pictures.Yes it,s caused problems for our police and security services but no you wont stop it and yes it will happen again ,the worst creatures on this planet are called human beings :sad1:

Freedom of information over there maybe.

Maybe, but when the Manchester and Metropolitan Police share intelligence and request it is not released and it happens twice, surely questions will be asked.

The information will have been heading for the public domain, when the house raids and arrests had been carried out!

I am with Trump on this one the CIA are a load of *******.

I am sure he is happy to have your support!

Given recent form the leak will be from the US side.

This has huge implications since the leaked information will have potentially lit a fire under associated plots which were only simmering and because even among the 5 eyes community sharing on CT matters is a tricky business and will be seriously undermined.

I'm ex forces too, and I've a good deal of pedigree from those days and after in dealing with exactly the people in question in quite a few different ways.

With regard to topics being closed, feel free to PM me with ideas on how you think another 10 pages of "bomb them all" and "Enoch was right" long after anything particularly sensible was being posted would save us from future acts of terrorism - I'll make sure they are taken on board.

Otherwise, give over.

America is terrible when it comes to sub judice, the evidence of any case is all over the TV before it ever gets to court. The prosecution leaks all sorts of evidence about a suspect's drinking / infidelities or whatever. They seem to have no concept of contaminated evidence being inadmissable.

its unusual to shut such a massive thread after less than 2 days, I read the posts, the vast majority were ok.

and I never even found out what rod liddle said, such was the swiftness of that closure.

You've not been on here long enough to know what's usual or not with regard to these threads, nor the long and painful history of why we have to take the line we do once posts start getting pulled. Also, consider for a moment that the "vast majority" you felt were ok dont count those we removed and which you cant see before you judge our decisions.

It would be very easy to just point to the no-religion no-race rule we have and shut it off the bat but we try not to as much as possible.

As for what Rod Liddle said, you are at liberty to google it like anyone else.
